Mr. Plumber by Metzler & Hallam Reviews (4)

This is a legal matter between the Ms. [redacted] and Wells Fargo according to their counsel. Wells Fargo's attorney has validated the account to Ms. [redacted] legal representative. Mr. Plumber can no longer be involved in this matter.

Mr. Plumber is a company built on trust and customer service. On April 4, 2013 our client purchased a 5 year plumbing maintenance agreement. There a many benefits with having a plumbing maintenance agreement up to and including discounted pricing, priority service, as well as yearly plumbing...

inspections. We have returned each year to complete the plumbing inspections that are included with this purchase. According to our records, on February 10, our plumber arrived at this home at 12:45pm to complete a plumbing inspection. After checking all the visible plumbing, our plumber wrote up a complete one page report on the Summary of Findings as well as completing a plumbing evaluation checklist. Our plumber departed from the home at 2:30pm. A plumbing manager spoke with this client yesterday and offered to return to the home to evaluate all plumbing. The client refused. In conclusion, after 3 years into a 5 year Plumbing Maintenance Agreement we do not feel it is fair to refund the amount paid in 2013. Our plumber was there for one hour and 45 minutes and offered an extensive amount of suggestions. Mr. Plumber hopes to have the opportunity to once again earn your trust.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that the response would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I suggest that the time spent inspecting my house was not the time length given in the company response.....in fact flushing a few toilets does not take close to 2 hours....this company may be confusing the time their other technician spent the same day cleaning my furnace and putting in a new furnace  filter.....I am not disputing the service contract on the Furnace side....there is a real service provided in that inspection contract where they clean, adjust, and replace as needed  the dirty furnace and  filer........however there is no service provided by the Mr Plumber $395 inspection agreement.....it is the Mr Plumber agreement that I am claiming is a scam and I wish refunded.....at the very least the years not used should be refunded.....I believe the 2017 amount should also be refunded......there is no way a technician was flushing toilets and turning on and off water for 2 hours ...I would further suggest that there is no real value in having a technician in my house turn water off and on and flush toilets in my home for 2 hours or for 5 minutes.....I find it interesting that the company is not disputing that no service was provided but rather  seems to suggest that their technician was there  for quite a while somehow suggesting a value to the customer of some sort...........there was no service, adjustments, or cleaning performed at any time during any Mr Plumber inspection on Feb 10 or any other day...as such there should not be any question that this Mr Plumber inspection is an overpriced and worthless to the customer scam.....perhaps their technician is counting the long time spent finding my house or perhaps the time the technician spent gleefully in his truck outside of my house.....I did from my window see him out there for quite a bit....... the $395 Mr Plumber inspection contract is a scam and should not be allowed to be offered to customers...this contract serves no purpose other than to make Mr Plumber money and perhaps create future product sales....the inspection consists of a quick house walk-thru flushing toilets and turning on and off water...at no point is anything in the house during their inspection cleaned, adjusted, or made to perform better.....their $395 inspection service clearly provides the customer with no benefit of any kind.....best regards, ...[redacted]

in March 27, 2014 we started the process of replacing the sewer line according to our original proposal of approximately 15 feet long and 6 feet deep. Once we started the digging process, we found the sewer was full of roots to the city main. After explaining the situation to the client she...

agreed to a change order to continue replacing the sewer. She signed financing paperwork. On January 20, 2015, we received a "charge dispute" from our financing company Wells Fargo regarding this client. After receiving our documentation regarding the issue, Wells Fargo sided with Mr. Plumber and reversed the dispute. Mr. Plumber also had Citizen's Energy Group (manages the city main) attorney contact her to explain. In conclusion, Mr. Plumber spent a great deal of time and money to restore a failed sewer system to get the client facilities to use. We have proven this in two separate occasions.
