Mr Pride Car Wash on Union ave damaged my car and would not be responsible for repairs.I have a [redacted] convertible and while my car was going thru the drying process the blowers were so strong it blew half my back window half way out.I filled out a damage report and gave it to the manager on duty.He signed it and told me the owner would get in touch with me.It took 4 days and many phone calls to the owner to finally reach him.The owner gave me every reason that his machinery had nothing to do the damage of my car.My car was in showroom condition before this incident.He told me to take my car down the street to[redacted] Upholstery and if the cost wasn't too high(he then went in a different direction..)told me to bring the car back to him and he would give me a free wax job !..There is a sign on his property that tells you of all of the things he will not be responsible for such as outside mirrors etc etc..but nothing telling me of the damage done to my car.I will see him in court..Desired SettlementI would like for the owner to pay for the damage to my car

The car wash broke while we were in it, the interior of our car was soaked, and they wouldn't issue a refund.I went through the Mr. [redacted] on [redacted] today and had an absolutely horrid experience. My mother (driving) and I opted for the automatic wash, which only cost $5. Upon entering, the man on staff guided the car onto the rails; however, a couple of times, I could hear the tire scratching the metal, which alarmed me (especially considering the car is less than one month old). After the car was situated and in neutral, we began moving inside the wash. After about 30 seconds, the same man motioned for us to roll the window down and said the car wash was broken. He guided us forward and as we did, the sprayer turned on and the entire interior of the car (and us) was soaked. When we finally exited, they informed us that they had it working and said we could drive through again. We asked if they would be able to drive the car through (so as to not mess up the tires and/or in case the car wash malfunctioned again). They said no.We then asked for a return so we could go elsewhere to wash the car. They motioned for a manager (who saw the entire ordeal unfold), and he said, "Well, that's impossible. I can't give a refund because you went through the car wash." We reiterated the fact that the car wash broke, our car had not been cleaned and that we had also been soaked by the sprayer. He laughed and said, "That's just not possible. You went through the car wash. I can't give your money back."Granted the wash was only $5, but after the series of events, they should have been more than willing to return our money. The rationale that we had "gone through the car wash," was completed absurd. Completely unacceptable customer service.Desired SettlementI'm not asking for a settlement or refund. Rather, I just wanted to make the Revdex.com aware of this incident. I did try to contact the owner and have not heard back at this point.

I bought a car wash. A few minutes later it was raining hard. I was given a rain check. When I returned they refused to honor.Purchased on June 7. I returned on June 14 because it rained almost every day in between. They said I waited too long, but I didn't have time to do it earlier. I've been going to Mr. Pride as long as I can remember. When I was a child I remember going to the Mr. Pride location on Poplar,. We would go there with my mother and she had her gas tank filled up there. Then they'd check the tire pressure. The Poplar location no longer sells gas, but they do change your oil, and I'm sure they'll still check you tires. I've never had a bad experience at the Poplar store, nor any of the other Mr. Pride locations. I feel that this company should have a better Revdex.com rating here. I'm surprised that there are only complaints listed, and not any positive experiences from people like me that have visited Mr. Pride. Now that I live downtown I use the Union location. I feel that Mr. Pride is the best car wash in Memphis. Every time I go there my car is 100% clean when I leave. I wouldn't go anywhere else!!!","pos-1

I took my car to Mr. Pride for washing and detailing. When I left, I didn't know which way to go. I went through the car wash and the grate collapsed under my car. I spent hours waiting for a wrecker and my car was damaged in the extraction process. One of the employees even told me they were supposed to tell me which way to go to exit, but they didn't. The people hired to clean the interior of my car were smoking and didn't begin to take care of my car until finished. Worst of all, I went in for and paid for a clean car and left with a car that smells like cigarettes! Too many other good places to get car cleaned to ever return to Mr. Pride!","neg-1
