We have gone out numerous times trying to address the customers concerns We are willing to continue to go back to the customers home and work on their water drainage issue I think what they need is another downspout to alleviate the overflow problem. *** ***

In response to Mrs*** complaint,I understand that she feels that we are responsible for her leak in her siding But we have been more than accomidating in trying to come to a mutual solution I have fixed some of her siding issues, which stopped the leak in that area I
have provided her with bids from other siding contractors who agree that it is her siding that is rotten and causing the leaks Attached are pictures of her rotten siding that was rotten before we ever put the roof on.I agreed to fix the main area of siding that has a gaping hole When my subcontractor called her to set the time that they would come out, the *** asked that my subs fix the other areas as well The *** seem like really nice people, but I don't think they are aware of what the issue is It is not the roof that I installed for them.I am still willing to fix the gaping hole shown here in the picture on their siding But as she and I agreed that is the only area I am willing to do for free I am only doing this area because I wanted to keep good will between them and my company But any more than that is taking advantage of my business

I am rejecting this response because:Mr Roof was paid to replace my entire roofThe flashing around the chimney that was noted on the inspection report was bent up to allow the removal of the old shingles, after the new shingles were installed the flashing around the chimney was now bent down, nailed and sealedThe noted shingles that are installed incorrectly (upside-down) was installed by Mr Roof when they installed the new roofThe nails not flush is part of the roof replacement. I do not find the reasoning of being too busy to return my call or get with me to resolve, valid, I placed calls over a two week period, most of the time multiple calls per dayI left messages that I can be reached at anytime

I am rejecting this response because: the issue is not the siding, see photos attachedThere was NO dry rot to the fascia or columns before MrRoof removed the front porch metal seamless flat roofHis crew covered the original water spouts (gutter system) located inside the columns, the PTO (tarp) is no longer secure as screws are pulling away from the fascia boardRain water is going under the TPO and warping the beaded board ceilings, columns and fascia boards are rotted out!Mr*** was informed by the material Repthat the roof was installed improperly and this is why it is leaking Expect Mrroof to repair or replace all problem flat roofs and replace all rotted wood which resulted from his improper repairsi have the insurance of the before repairs were started and the now pictures EXTENSIVE exterior and interior damage can be seen on recent photos

I did agree to go and look at his roof after speeking with him When I saw his report he sent from his inspector I was able to see that the items in question were not a part of his work order that was submitted or paid for by his insurance estimate The items in question was his flashing
around chimney, which we were not contracted to do In addition the picture showing a shingle raised by a nail was just a shingle that had not sealed completely.I was extremely busy at the time and was not able to address his concerns in personBut the work we did was done correctly.Sincerely,*** ***

Mr*** has been a very patient customer We did contract to seal his roof and did the work There was a problem when we did the work because it was cold when we applied it and the sealant ran off the roof We went back and cleaned it up and reapplied the product He
said that the roof was still leaking so we went back and caulked a few areas that we thought might still be causing the problem He stated later that it was still leaking We determined that it was his ridge cap that was leaking because it didn't have any enclosures, so we added enclosures at no cost. He says it is still leaking and we told him that we would try putting a larger ridge cap on at no cost to him If that didn't work we would replace his roof at no cost We have been very committed to getting this figured out I've never had this problem in the past There was scheduling conflicts for us to get it done at the time I said I wouldIt has been an unusually busy year for us Recently he text me and stated that he believed we were not taking care of the problem because we were racist I assured him that was not the case that we are very color blind individuals He happens to be one of my favorite customers of all time I have every intention of continuing to find a solution Please let me know when is a good time and we will come out again and replace the ridge cap as that is the only other thing that could be causing the problem leak.Sincerely,*** ***
