In January I called MrRooter to come out because my back-flow preventer had frozen and the plastic piece had broke off, which is what it is designed to doI did not know this at the timeI have never had an issue with one before
They sent a tech out to see what the issue was and he fear-mongered meHe used the fact that I was a young woman and did not know much about plumbing to scare meHe say that the whole back-flow piece needed to be replaced (it did not at ALL) and it was going to cost over $2,(at MAX it should cost $150- I know that now)He had me so freaked out that I agreed, but there was a lot of red flags
So I started to do research about the back-flow preventer and discovered that it was designed to break off like it did and that there was a repair kitSo I went to buy a kit and repaired it MYself in under an hour, and cancelled the work order from MrRooterI then got a different company to come run the city back-flow preventer test, which it passed a

Work was done to re-route pipes throughout homeAn excessive amount of holes were made in the homeI have met with the manager/franchise owner/etc *** ***He agreed that there were an excessive amount of holes made in the homeWe were without water for several nightsWhile the technician was working on the issue for several weeks he had assured us that the water was off when in fact it was leaking from another area and the water bill continued to rise to over $I had a restoration company come and provide a reasonable estimateMr*** (when he came out and agreed there were an excessive amount of holes made) agreed to pay whatever insurance did not cover to make the necessary repairs (if it was issues not covered or the deductible)He has failed to do so and this has been going on for approximately six (6) months

On Octwe had a clog issue in our kitchen sinkWe called different establishments for service and decided to have MrRooter Plumbing from Waco Txto do the repairThe service was done, but when it came to pay the technician had to take our card info to pay for the service back at the businessAlthough, this is not common practice for me to do I gave my card info to be chargedI was charged the amount due on the same day of service, but after days later I was billed again on my card for the same amountI contacted the business Mr Rooter, about this matterThrough a long extensive conversation, in which screen shots of the transaction was sent to them to show proof of this had occurredThey stated that their finance depthad made an error and funds will be credited by that evening or the following mornI had checked the following morn to see if the funds were deposited back into my acctI called my bank to see if any pending deposits were to be madeMy bank states

I am rejecting this response because: the issue in my home has persisted since approximately September 2015. A satisfactory response from the business has not been attained. I do not believe that my complaint has been properly addressed by the business. The response sent by them is basically saying that they know a problem exist and they will work on it. I am not satisfied with the response or the course of action that has been taking place since the inception of the problem.
