Dear Revdex.com,I am writing in response to a complaint against Dawson Heating and Cooling Company After receiving work from Dawson Heating and Cooling I was not satisfied with the work The heating and cooling unit was to have been cleaned and serviced for the summer season No invoice was left but they did call the next day to inform me that payment was due At that time I informed Dawson Heating and Cooling that the unit was not cooling and I would not pay for service that was incomplete.I then called for a second opinion from *** [redacted] found the unit had not been properly cleaned and if freon was used there should have been an invoice stating the amount of freon used Without an invoice I am not trusting the word of Dawson Heating and Cooling Dawson Heating and Cooling in response to my original complaint stated that they felt my complaint was questionable and suggested I might not be a man of character This is not a character issue this is a quality of service issueDawson Heating and Cooling has spread a web of untruths The truth is The service by Dawson Heating and Cooling was not completed as requested No invoice was left to document the service and record the freon use (as directed by law) I will not pay for incomplete service You may contact me through email at g [redacted] Respectfully,Mr [redacted]
After reviewing the work from the business in question, I found out through another heating and cooling expert the work was not done properlyThe business in question never provided me with any documentation of what they stated that they performed

I have reached out to Mr*** on numerous occasions to try and resolve this matter. Mr***’ is a repeat customer. Mr***’ complaint was that he did not have an invoice that stated the work completedIn my numerous conversations with Mr*** I explained that he is correct that he should have received an invoice upon completion of the work. I also explained that since he was a repeat customer that we often bill the customer. However, before we could bill him he became disgruntled and stated that he could pay the bill in two payments and he would pay the bill once he received an invoice. However, after this conversation he stated that his system was doing the same thing it was doing previously and that he would not pay for services rendered and he filed this complaint. However, I am not concerned about collecting payment at this point. I am more concerned about my reputation and him stating that I did not try to rectify the situation. I am confused at this point where to go from here. It is obvious that he has reached his objective of not paying. I don’t understand his reasoning of trying to damage my reputation. Hello- My complaint still stands. I still feel that this a deceptive business and that Dawson's response does not represent the interaction I had with the technician. I have dealt with a company that has deceptive practices and for my own emotional well being I wish not to pursue this any further.[redacted]

Mr. Dawson said they have done all the work possible from the outside. They need access to the inside, and customer has not provided that so far. Business cleaned and added Freon to unit and everything is fine from that standpoint. Business has not heard back from customer regarding scheduling a...
time for business to return to address unit from the inside. Customer asked for and received arrangements to pay in increments, but to date, has not paid on his balance. Business is willing to continue to work with the customer, they need to hear from him as to when to return. Technician did not post an invoice on the outside of property, customer was not home to receive the invoice.
