Mr. Transmission/MLM Enterprises Group, LLC Reviews (14)

MrTransmission did not remove the oil pan to repair their vehicle, nor did the work performed have any bearing on the catalytic converterThe [redacted] 's have a three year warranty on their transmission and they need to bring their car back to our facility if they need warranty work

This customer had his vehicle towed in with a suspicion of having transmission problems, once the transmission was removed for inspection; it was found to be a problematic transfer case, which is not covered under warranty The initial decision of the customer was to sell the vehicle; then he decided that he was going to pick the vehicle upWhile there is no problem with the decisions made by the customer, the vehicle has been sitting for sixty days and he is still responsible for storage, towing and inspection feesOnce the fees are paid the customer is welcomed to retrieve the vehicle from MrTransmission

Ms***’ vehicle came into the shop not startingAfter diagnosing the vehicle we determined it needed a mass air flow sensor, a distributor, and to repair the floor shifterWe
quoted $for the repairsMs*** gave us a deposit of $and after we started on the work we determined that the engine was bad and contacted Ms***She informed us that her father had worked on the carHer father came down and asked if it was okay to remove the engineUsually that is not our practice, but we allowed him to do that on our premises because we had an abandoned vehicle at our shop that we were going to try and see if the motor would work for her vehicleWe later found that motor wasn’t any good eitherMs*** has gotten her $back and we also towed her vehicle back to herWe have parts, towing and labor invested into this vehicle that we did not charge her forThere is no reason for her to have a complaint with the Revdex.comHer car was in bad shape before it got to us and we were trying to help her

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowI repeatedly called your business for several weeks and spoke to your shop associates, requesting to make a warranty claim I will produce phone records on request You were never available to take my calls, though I called during business hours, so your shop members promised to take my messages and have you return my calls They never did, despite promises that I would contact the Revdex.com This is a dishonest labor practice By failing to honor the agreement of the warranty you provided, you forced me to go to another shopI am an active duty service member, and my job requires me to have a functional vehicleAdditionally, your "warranty" was for three yearsTherefore, the damage your work caused is still under your "warranty", so citing that it took me a year to contact your business is a moot pointYour repair work only lasted a year.
Enclosed are pictures of the damage your repair work caused, including invoices of the work Subaru performedPlease note the Subaru technician's assessment finds that your shop negligently performed labor Also find enclosed the invoice from an honest transmission shop, who repaired the damage you caused after you incorrectly reassembled my transmission, as the Subaru tech makes of comment of in his notesPlease note the combined subtotals to repair the vehicle as 2629.12, for this is the quantity I will seek from your business.
In the pictures, the timing belt cover is cracked and has a circular wear patter The belt is stripped and has burn marksThis was directly caused by your poor labor.
I deploy to Afghanistan today, so please understand if my correspondence takes longer than usual

Revdex.com Representative,
MrTransmission firstly denies any responsibility for any damages caused to Mr.***’s vehicleHe has had his vehicle close to a year since
the original work was done and there has been no contact stating that he was hearing any noises or having trouble with his carThere is insufficient evidence that any negligence occurred in the repairs to his timing belt or his transmission and is doubtful that both were damaged at the same time
Mr*** has not followed procedures for handling a repair according to his terms of warrantyHis warranty states that any damages or claims of damage will not exceed the initial amount of the repairs and will be honored at any MrTransmission franchise in the United StatesIf the vehicle cannot be returned to the original repair facility then you must contact the original repair facility for instructions before any action is taken
Mr*** has not provided MrTransmission with any documentation from the dealership that did the inspection or a picture of the timing belt to prove that is was misalignedThis vehicle is a performance vehicle and the damages could have been caused by other factors that have nothing to do with the work performed at MrTransmission

I need a copy of the paperwork from this vehicle as I cannot fins anything under *** ***'s name

It is unfortunate that this customer was dissatisfied with
our service. From drop off to pick
up we
did our best to satisfy the complainant and his fiancée. The transmission repair did take longer than
originally quoted due to additional problems found that took a bit more time
but were not charged to the customer. We
mistakenly charged this customer twice; although it did not happen in an hour,
the additional charge was reversed. On
Friday, December 12, 2014, the customer and the complainant did pick up the
vehicle and the refund receipt

Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Mr. Transmission told us they changed our oil. In comparison to the diagnostic test performed by Honda the wrong oil pan had been put on the vehicle. Also, in comparison to the diagnostic we had performed in January 2016 to the one we had done in April 2016 it showed damaged had been done to the catalytic converter. Also, Mr. [redacted] told Mr. [redacted] they only work on transmissions which was not true since they did all the other work to our car once we complained with our dissatisfaction of how the car operated after the first initial completion of repairs done by Mr. Transmission. Due to the car sustaining damages in addition to the original repairs and other work done outside of their area of expertise and after making Mr. Transmission aware of the car drivability was not satisfactory and given them the opportunity to correct the repairs and damages we do not desire to have any more work performed by Mr. Transmission. Since Mr. Transmission only acknowledged the oil pan and the catalytic converter we can rightfully assume that all other accusations are true. We are scared to drive the car after work done by Mr. Transmission.
Regards,
Andrea [redacted]

Customer & her husband retrieved the vehicle on April
15, 2014 with all expected repairs.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

The customer has come to an agreement with owner and will be retrieving the vehicle with all repairs on Friday.
