Mr. Tub Man

We had Mr. Tub Man reglaze our tub with the promise that he would do the work to our satisfaction. After waiting one month for the service, he repaired and reglazed the inside of the tub. He charged extra to repair and the repair was and is still visible and there are runs in the paint. The sides are dull, are not as smooth as the bottom, have less paint, the edge of the tub has not been fully painted and there is a visible bare spot along with 3 marks on the top of the edge of the tub. Only one side of the exterior of the tub has been painted. He returned and did a bit of work on the runs which did improve them a bit but did nothing else. In a later phone conversation, he said he should have wet sanded and polished it and would try that next and if that did not work then he would respray the whole tub. One and a half months later he returned and wet sanded which did very little and refused to respray as promised and spray the exterior that he had not sprayed at all. We paid almost $800 to have our tub completely refinished and this was not done. His statement of warrantee is for 5 years yet he has not completed the work he was paid to do. He is not warranting the work now.[redacted]Desired SettlementHave another company more skilled come in and reglaze the tub properly and completely. Mr Tub Man pays the cost of the work to be professionally done and what he promised prior to commencing and during the process of doing the job. If not then to refund us the full amount of the project. We want a tub that is repaired and fully glazed as promised which will hold up to average use.
