Mr. Wash

Review: Had my car washed on 6/20/12. When I gave them my car to wash, the windshield was fine. When it came out of the wash, it had a large crack in it. I asked to speak with the manager and he said it was probably cracked before it went in. I had to insist that he file a report. The report was then filed with the company. I was given a number to call. I called the company immediately and they said to call back in a few days when the report reached the office.

On 6/25/12, I called the company and spoke to "[redacted]" and told her what happened. She said it wasn't their fault. I asked her to look at the security videos as the manager had suggested. I was told they would have to look at the security tape and get back to me. I called back several times and my calls were not returned.

When I did finally speak to [redacted] again, first she told me that the manager checked the tapes and it wasn't their fault. When I pointed out that the manager said he didn't have access to the tapes. She admitted that the manager didn't actually look at the tapes and changed her story and said that it was someone else who checked the security tapes but wouldn't say who. She said they weren't going to do anything about it and that I should contact a lawyer.

I did contact a lawyer and it woud cost as much to hire his services to help me deal with this as it would to replace the windshield. Mr. Wash has handled this poorly from start to finish.Desired Settlement: I would like the cracked windshield to be repaired or replaced.
