Mr. Z Towing

Review: Waited for over an hour before anyone even bothered to check on me ... Gave them all the paper work they asked for . I used words like please and thank you . Yet they were still rude almost forceful. As a women I felt intimidated and threatened .. My experience with them was very bad. I hope someone has consequences because my experience was uncalled for. I should of been cursed and and yelled at. I might file for a des positionDesired Settlement: I would just like an apology. Also for them to try an achieve a professional way to handle there customers . Especially those that don't give them and problems .. And to wait in the cold for over an hour is wrong

Review: My vehicle was towed by Mr. Z Towing due to a violation of unpaid parking tickets issued by NYC Traffic on July [redacted]. My vehicle was parked in a private and gated neighborhood where I reside called [redacted]. This area is a de-mapped zone by the city of NY as a private neighborhood that isn't considered NYC property. In the time of pick up of my vehicle from Mr. z tow lot, the front left bumper and areas surronding were significantly dented and damaged. When I asked Mr. Z towing about this matter they presented an alternative solution and insisted that I don't report this incident with my insurance carrier, but rather I should bring it back to them and have them fix it. I denied their request and in turn requested their insurance information for proper investigation. They told me they will give me a call the following week to check the damages on the marshals pictures and notes. The marshals notations did not mentioned any damages such as mine in this complaint.

Nine business days later, I visited the tow lot once again to retrieve their insurance information, but they rejected my request with improper treatment in which lead me to call [redacted]. The police arrived and urged me to report this matter with the City of NY and also Revdex.com. Since then they have yet to contact me with information on this matter.Desired Settlement: Desired outcome

Review: Mr. Z Towing has been towing many resident's cars in [redacted]. He never presents a valid permit to tow these vehicles, which he claims are illegally parked. Once he had hooked the supposedly illegally parked car he would demand cash from the owner in order to unhook the car. On May *, 2015, my parents, who are residents of [redacted], were victimized by Mr. Z Towing. Mr. Z Towing demanded $140 in cash from my parents. My parents called the police, however when the police took too long to arrive at the scene they acquiesced to this extortion. However, the driver for Mr. Z Towing never gave them a valid receipt that states why such an exorbitant amount was charged to unhook a vehicle that was not even transported to a different location. The NYPD officers who finally arrived at the scene, after Mr. Z Towing had extorted and left, informed my parents that the average tow costs an individual $60-80, which clearly indicates that Mr. Z Towing is NOT legally operating its business. Furthermore, there are NO visible signs on the resident property that warns residents of the possibility of their cars getting towed for whatever circumstances. Thus, Mr. Z Towing is arbitrarily towing cars in order to illegally pocket money for his own greed and avarice. He is clearly committing a criminal act that needs to be penalized.Desired Settlement: Through the Revdex.com I would like to see the towing fee, which my parents were coerced to pay, be returned. If he is able to clearly present an official permit for tow and can clearly indicate the violation that my parents had committed in writing, I would like a receipt that indicates the clear charges for $140.
