Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 15, 2015/09/10) */ This complaint all started with the individual contacting me for a estimateBack in she contacted me for an estimateI responded promptly and looked at her house to evaluate cost for herShe decided to not use our services and hired a different companyShe then contacted me in the month of July and requested another estimate for other rooms as well as cleaning up some of the other companies bad craftsmanshipWe responded promptly and gave her an estimateShe requested assistance on her color selections and I brought in color fans to help her with her selectionsShe stated that she would have to go to the paint store for her final selectionsWe both agreed that she would contact me several days before we were to start her projectThe Monday before we were to start her project on that Thursday I contacted her at 7:a.mvia text message, I requested her color selections by Thursday morningThat would give us plenty of time to order up the paint and be there Friday morning per the agreement between her and II did not hear from her on that Thursday morning and waited all day for her responseFinally at 8:p.mI contacted her again and ask her to please give me her colors for first thing Friday morning, she stated that she didn't have all of her colors and to give her a couple of additional minutesI obliged her request and waitedShe then gave me her colors but stated that she would not be home in the morningI misunderstood her to assume she was working nights when actually she was working into the early morning hours and would not be home until late Friday morningHer daughter was to open up the door for us to allow us access into the house to begin paintingShe did give me her color selections at near p.mon Thursday eveningAs I reviewed her colors I noticed that a couple of the colors had some odd spellings and one of the colors did not show up on the regular color fans selectionsShe corrected herself on the wrong selection that she gave me because of her misspellingThe other color was a specialty color from [redacted] manufactureThe color chip that she had chosen stated at the store and in several different places of their literature that this color was a specialty group of colorsTherefore this special color would require [redacted] 's best paint for exact color matchTheir best paint is very expensiveI told the woman that she would have to purchase this paint to get exact colorShe stated that it was my responsibility to notify her of any colors that would require special attentionthe monday before we start her project on that thursday I contacted her at a_m via text message com I requested her collar selections by thursday morningThat would give us plenty of time to order up the p and be there friday morning her the agreement between her and II did not hear from her on that thursday morning and waited all day her responseFinally at p_m I contacted her again and ask her to please give me her colors for first thing friday morning com she stated that she didn't have oliver colors and give her a couple of additional minutesI am blige her request and waitingThen gave me her colors I noticed that one of the colors did not coincide with the name and number that she gave meI asked her to confirm and she did state that yes she had given me all of the wrong informationThe second color she gave me was a color that can only be mixed in [redacted] 's finest paintThe color chip that she had chosen stated on the color chip as well as in the paint store that it could only be mixed in one paint, that being [redacted] 's best paintI notified the woman that unfortunately I can only get that paint in their most expensive lineI told her that I could try to have it matched up at other paint stores that open up as early as a.mon Friday morningShe then stated to me that it was very unprofessional of me do not no every color and every special circumstance that was required by each colorI told her that I was sorry but it was her responsibility to read the literature of every color to find out if there was any special circumstancesWe then disagreed on getting this project started because of this dilemmaAfter texting back and forth she then stated that she would not need my services on Friday morningWe exchanged more texts explaining that each other was at fault for her color selectionsShe stated that I was very unprofessional to not know every color and the circumstance of specialty paints behind every colorShe did not use our services and file this complaint to the Revdex.comOn my behalf I would request that the Revdex.com look at all of our recent reviews from home advisor and other web sites to determine if we as a company are doing good work on a weekly and monthly basisIn my opinion this woman did not understand based on the color chip what was required as far as certain paints
