Thank you for contacting MrQuick's Oil Lube regarding Mr [redacted] Mr [redacted] 's [redacted] pick up truck with 266,miles was brought to MrQuick's on 8/ Mr [redacted] did not make a special request on a particular oil at the time of service We used quarts of [redacted] 5w-synthetic blend at the time we serviced the vehicle All of our receipts state the blend and the oil and the amount of oil for each vehicle Mr [redacted] signed the receipt after the service was completed He paid and left He did not state a concern over the oil that was put in his vehicle at that time On 10/13/Mr [redacted] came back to MrQuick's Oil Lube and stated he was dissatisfied with the oil we put in his vehicleAt that time Mr [redacted] had driven the vehicle 5,000, since we had changed the oilWe did put the vehicle on the bay and take a look at it It was down a quart of oilThat is not unusual for a vehicle being drive mile on a oil change We offered to top it off with our oil He declined the offer He had stated he has an oil leak and we look and notified him he had a rear main seal leak and it was not related to the oil change that we performed We did let him know it was time for him to consider changing his oilHe did not want us to do so In Mr [redacted] 's letter he states we should have declined servicing his vehicle in 8/18/because it has a bad oil pump and a leak in the fuel line That is not part of our point service Nor do we advertise that it is We feel Mr [redacted] should have brought his concerns to light before he had driven the vehicle 5,mile after the oil change was performed I will fax a copy of our warranty that Mr [redacted] was given at the time his vehicle was serviced Thank you [redacted]
