We had a second floor clothes dryer not venting properly from our roof-house was new and dryer hardly used. Mr. Roof Repair sent over someone promptly to do an assessment and he was confident that the wrong vent was placed and that was the problem. He also suggested some other work at that time which we agreed to. This was in October 2019. After paying a deposit and not hearing from them for months, I contacted them-excuse was they were waiting for warmer, dryer weather. The next week, they sent one guy out when it was -10 and snowing heavily. He also was unsure as to why he was there. We sent him away. Two guys showed up the following week to replace the vent and do the other authorized work. When I tried the dryer, it was still not working. I e-mailed the account manager to let him know. Instead of acknowledging my concern, they dismissed me and said there must be a block in the duct. I assured him this was not the case since I had examined the back of the dryer and the duct-also it was new and hardly used. After examining the pictures they sent of the completed work, I noticed they replaced the wrong vent on the roof-not even close to the dryer vent!!! They very promptly charged my visa for the balance and actually charged for other work not done at all (this portion was refunded.) This was in January 2020. We have been trying to call/e-mail since, but mostly ignored. When we do get in touch with them they promise to rectify the problem, but have not. We paid >$600.00 to have a single vent replaced because we were desperate to have a functional clothes dryer and now we have two repairs needed (original problem and removal of improper vent installed in wrong location) and still no dryer. We have also asked for a refund to have someone else complete the job properly, but they just keep promising to do the work and then no further follow up. This company obviously has no intention on returning and fixing their mistake and I still don't have a working clothes dryer.

It won't be fair to Mr Roof repair if I don't acknowledge today, now that they performed my work, that they made made a great work! The work has been done with attention to detail, the finishing was perfect. The work site was left clean and the quality of material they proposed and installed, responded to our needs. Andre was very courteous over the phone updating me on the work and answering all my questions. Rodney went above and beyond the scope of work by fixing some little stuffs here and there on the work area. That attention to the surroundings and details definitely enhance the rendering of the work they performed to my agreeable surprise. Thanks to the team for making all necessary efforts to make-up for the little glitches in order to restore an agreeable relationship and give me the opportunity to get and witness a high quality service.
