Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Regards, [redacted] The reasons of rejection are reported in the attachment, which I'm also copying here: In responseto MrRooter’s message:A) Under 2) MrRooter says : “The tech was notallowed into the house to resolve the issue”This is absolutely NOT true : He (Mr.Luther) did come intothe house and could check and see the consequences of the floodingMr[redacted] , who was witness there, can be contacted to testifyabout this and the intimidating tone of MrLuther trying to convince us to letHIM solve the problem.Another witness for the damages was the Realtor Ms [redacted] , Director of [redacted] ***, who was there the day of the “discovery”and personally wanted to make a complaint phone call to Mr.Rooter’s secretary.B) AboutMr.R’s 3) : After the stop payment a $ check was cashed under # ***,instead of # [redacted] Only recently wecould realize that [redacted] was the invoice’s, not the check’s #.C) AboutMr.R’s 4) : It took us months to file complaint because we had to go back to ***, planning to come back homeby mid NovWhile there, totally unexpected events, including an accidentoccurred to my wife (still under medical controls as it can be proven, ifrequested) kept us in [redacted] till June Idon’t think that could diminish the weight of Mr.R’s responsibility.D) About5): Mr.Rooter says their work did NOT cause the sewer back upThe sewer backup was caused by their WRONG diagnosis: the clog was in a secondary, not in themain line! Plus the final control was definitively inadequateIn conclusion we reject MrRooter’s response as a lift of responsibility.Which, indeed, is clearly showing by both: MrL’s offer to fix the problem forfree, AND MrR.’s “courtesy to make no further attempts on collection”Westill claim our reimbursement of $2,However, for the sake of closing a very unpleasant experience, wewould waive the “symbolic” $ sum and restric our request to $ 2,

The service provided came with a day warrantyWe would have most likely fixed the small dripping at no cost if contacted by the customer even though it was almost months later because if it was dripping it would indicate a workmanship issueWe were not given that opportunityThe customer attempted to work on the parts in question as evidenced in their statements and documentationDuring their efforts they broke the fitting installed by Mr [redacted] Unfortunately we cannot accept responsibility for items the customer clearly broke

We apologize for the delay in execution of the stated jobThe delay was caused by the permitting process with the municipality in providing current bond and license information as well as obtaining the permit itselfAll of these issues have been completed as well as the work for the customer

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: MrRooter has had the alternate product information since 5/26.On 3/Scott came to our house to install the flooring that we had left from the original installHe didn't have enough so he promised to go buy more and rescheduleOn 4/7, after not hearing from MrRooter since 3/I asked for an update and was told by Jason that we were at the top of the list to get this done.On 5/10, after not hearing from MrRooter since I called on 4/I was told that they couldn't find the flooringI said we would find something to use instead.On 5/I provided the model number of the replacement flooring and told MrRooter that they would need to go buy it and probably replace all of the flooring in the room since the pieces wouldn't fit with what was installedOn 6/Scott showed up to install the flooring and hadn't been told that he was supposed to pick up the flooring firstHe said he would go get the flooring and be back in a couple of hoursHe never came back and neither he nor anyone else from MrRooter called to explain why.On 6/I left a message for Scott asking for an updateHe never called back.On 6/I called Jason who said he would have Scott call meScott never called.So here we are, six weeks after I gave them a replacement model number, once through their website forms and once over the phone and they are still claiming they can't find a replacement.Sincerely, [redacted]
