Review: [redacted] and [redacted] of MRS Remodeling LLC. New Orleans, LA 70123###-###-####, ###-###-####. Rating [redacted] and [redacted] of MRS. Remodeling, LLC, on a scale of 1 to 5, five as the best the rating is a 1; due the incomplete work, dishonesty and deceit. B The work started out well, and they were helpful. The company was hired to complete drywall repairs and paint with flooring and siding added on. However, when the drywall work was inspected it required re-work, and the paint on the dry wall work was not completed. Siding Work - [redacted] did not choose an experienced crew and he said he lost money and had to replace a lot of material. Apparently no oversight was provided by [redacted], who attempted to manage multiple work sites leaving staff unattended for long periods. The crew left siding material on the back lawn that was not hauled away as part of the contract; which left a 10x10 foot spot of dead grass. We had to pay a separate contractor for haul away. Flooring - [redacted] and crew started flooring carpet and vinyl, but WALKED OFF the JOB and we cannot reach them as they are just not answering the phone. To confirm I had a friend call from a different phone and they answered. [redacted] left his tools and materials in the property. The Vinyl flooring has to be completely redone; and the carpet was installed without any padding. The New Contractor Estimate says:CARPET ESTIMATE: For the carpet I figured we MAY be able to complete the upstairs by using the carpet from the Living room & dining room, which would mean that we would have to order carpet for those two rooms, plus we need to install padding under of all the carpet. Vinyl Estimate: All of that material is not usable which means that it would be a matter of starting from scratch with new material and preparing the floor properly.We did pay [redacted] and [redacted] as the work was being done so this is not an issue of non- payment. [redacted] of MRS. Remodeling LLC provided Very POOR service, we did not have any disagreements they just stopped communicating and left the job.Desired Settlement: Refund for the flooring expense of $5000.00 and the haul away of siding debris for $280.00. Receipts available upon request. In addition please publish complaint.
