May 19, Better Business Bureau [redacted] ***Dispute Resolution Specialist Euclid Ave., 4th Fl.Cleveland, OH 44115- Re: Complaint ID [redacted] Complaint regarding MrYard Landscape Supply located at Columbia Rd Olmsted Falls, OH 44138- Dear ***, First let me say that my staff, as well as our sister company’s staff, confirmed and supported what happened with their un-biased views by writing what they experienced during this eventAt no time did I encourage or discourage any thing that they have writtenI personally encourage our team to represent my companies in any way they feel is necessaryI would recommend that you contact them in order to verify their opinions of this complaint I would like to state again that our business has clearly marked signage to indicate where the office is locatedMr [redacted] stated that “the office sign is to the left of the open garage door and contains an arrow pointing to the rightThe nearest door to the right of the sign is the garage door”This statement is incorrect, as the signage is approximately feet in front of our office door and feet to the left of the office doorThe garage door is approximately feet past the signage and approximately feet past our office entranceAll of this can be seen in the pictures that were provided in my first response; however I have included pictures again along with a tape measurement of the distance from the sign to the garage door Mr ***’s additional statement of “There was an employee standing in the garage watching my vehicle as I approached, which was the main reason I decided to pull in instead of parking outside.” is correctI was standing in the garage in plain sight as I was speaking with a member of the ***Let me say again that neither one of us could believe that this car was just driving into the building, especially with the careless nature in which he did soThe other employee that he referred to was Jim who was at the vending machine and did not even know he was pulling in until the car came to a stop next to the vending machineAs a matter of fact, Jim stated to me that “he did not even know what was going on” until Mr [redacted] spoke to him through the passenger windowAll of this can be seen on the security camera still shots that were provided in my previous communicationPlease note the dates and times on the still shots are very clear as to the positioning of the employee at the vending machine, which proves that Jim could not see the vehicle approaching as it drove into our building Mr [redacted] also stated that he has been inside of our garage on prior visitsWe as a team find this very hard to believe as we do not allow anyone inside of our garageIn rare instances, customers may enter the rear of the garage after placing their order in the office in order to piproduct that they have purchasedIn such cases customers always enter on foot and are always accompanied by one of our team membersThe day that Mr [redacted] drove into our building was convenient for him as the front garage door was openThe reason why the door was open is because our CAT loader just exited the garage from weighing stone on our internal scale and we had not had time to close the doorUnder circumstances, the door is closedIn the 35+ years that I have been in business, I have never experienced a person just drive into our building because they thought of it as a “drive through” Again, I was upset with the way Mr [redacted] entered our garage with little to no careMy surprise at his careless entry and my concern for my employees’ safety led to my reactionAs I stated before, though admittedly I may have been wrong with how I reacted, at no time did I call him an “it” or use foul language when addressing Mr ***I was clearly 2-feet away from his car at all times and not “mere inches at times” as he has stated Lastly, I will say that Mr [redacted] has changed some wording on his reviews, however he has published a statement and misrepresented what is the truthThis has been and can be further damaging to my character and businessHe has publicly published defamation of my character I personally have been in business for well over years and own different corporations and have never before had to deal with such a problematic situation like this oneOur team is dedicated to our clients while providing valuable solutions for their propertyAs the Revdex.com, you should know that we have a clear record for all of our business models, including the businesses that I have sold in the past In conclusion, Mr [redacted] asks that clear signage should be posted and that tact and respect should be used towards peopleIt is our belief that we have clear signage and if you ask the thousands of clients that we have served, I am sure you will find that we do our best to satisfy everyoneMany of our customers come back year after year, and many of our new customers are referred to us by existing customersWe pride ourselves in providing excellent products and customer service; unfortunately we have not done so in this case and I will take blame for my behavior, but will not take blame for someone’s disregard of proper business entry I need to ask a question: If you go to Home Depot and you see the garage door open on the front of the store because they have it open to service a contractor ..do you drive into the store like a drive through?
