Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: First off, to take almost two months to respond to a complaint is ridiculousSecondly, to suggest that I am asking you to pick sides clearly shows thematurity level of what I've been dealing withI am not asking you to pick sides, I am asking you to control what goes on in YOUR shared living housesIt is not fair to anyone in the house to have to deal with ONE person who is consistently monopolizing a kitchenI have been complaining about this for a year! Instead of fixing the problem you just want to go back and forth about itEVERYONE that you cram into that house pays rent and should have a fair share of the kitchen! You say you have emailed and spoken to this person and yet he continues to do whatever he wants, which I kept telling you! At that point, it is YOUR responsibility to step up and take further actionIt is not my responsibility to tell you how to do your jobBeing a person who manages shared living arrangements it is YOUR responsibility to control and manage what goes on in that houseYou rent rooms to people without letting those who currently reside in the house meet and agree on who's moving in so you are clearly responsible for anything and everything in that housePrevious roommates warned me AFTER signing a lease about this person and have said "good luck using the kitchen" so this obviously has been an issue before I even moved inAnd once you are able to get into the kitchen, you have this same person standing in there with his arm folded in an aggressive stance as if you're invading HIS kitchen! Now if you want to deny any of this I will gladly contact all the roommates who have left me their contact info specificallyfor thisAnd then the fact that it takes you a week to replace a broken furnace and provide heat in a house when the weather was cold?? You might want to brush up on your landlord/tenant laws! Also, I did not state that people are moving out solely because of himYou have people moving out because of him monopolizing the kitchen, the way management handles things, going back to school, etcPut yourself in our situation! I was paying over $a month for a place that I could barely use the kitchen inHow would you feel if the tables were turned and it was YOU not being able to come home and cook or get up in the morning and make breakfast because of one individual?! How would you feel having your cookware damaged, your food disappearing, etcIf you cannot control what is going on in your rental units, then you should not be aresidential managerPeriod.Sincerely, [redacted]

Dear ***, I am responding to the complaint you submitted through the Revdex.comIt appears this is a dispute between you and one other roommate, as a property management company we cannot take sides, but we can speak with each person involved in the situationWe have spoken via email and I have spoken to the other roommate directly regarding the issues you emailed usWe were trying and mediate the situationThe response we got from the other roommate was that he was going to be accommodating and considerateSo it seems like per your further complaints this is not the caseSo in this case we tried again to reach out to the roommate and mediateI also wanted to let you know that everyone who lives in the roommate house goes through the same screening process as far as criminal, credit and eviction screeningAs a company we complete the screening this way to ensure that we are following fair housing guidelines so there is no discriminationWe are very sorry to see that things did not work out and that you are moving out at the end of JuneIt is not entirely true that other people are moving out solely due to the same reason you areIf you have any further questions please let us know!
