Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:
MS Re-cycle was
provided a clear photo of the fairing and damage. Specs and drawings and information are
readily available to anyone, including professionals who price these jobs. There was no mistake as there is only one
fairing on the side of the bike. Mr
Chris S*** of MS Re-Cycle quoted the price of $“shipped back to me”. Throughout approximately two months no other amount was mentioned until he became angry about this Revdex.com complaint
A look back through the emails and texts which I have available upon
request; I sent photos, MrS*** quoted a price of delivered back to
me, touting your in-house color system would be a dematch, the work would
take about three days and no problem to be back to me before
September. I sent the *** payment from of $and the fairing in
July When I inquired about it on Wednesday, September 6th S*** told
me the package would ship Monday the 11th. Nine days later I still had no
fairing and I asked again on September 15th. I asked again on September
17th and on the 18th S*** tells me, “when the clear coat is hard enough”;
What about Monday the 11th they said it would be shipped out? On
September 21st I texted multiple times, called three times and left messages
twice, I also emailed. I left phone messages and requested a call
No one from this business ever returned a phone call to me at anytime.
After it became clear they were not being truthful with me and I asked S***
about the shipping, all communication stopped, I filled a *** dispute and Revdex.com complaint in an effort to recover my
property. I received no communication until that evening after they learned
of my filing a *** dispute. On
Sept18th S*** emailed that it was shipped via FedEx and I would have the
fairing by the end of the week, but again this proved not to be true. I
followed their instructions to the letter and dealt with them in good faithIt
became apparent that they were not being truthful, a fact well-documented by them
sending me a photo of my faring still in their possession Pennsylvania Saturday
afternoon, Sept23rd, after they informed me in writing that it had been
shipped via FedEx days before, and would be arriving at my residence by the end
of the week (that day). The photograph they texted me of my faring with
the Revdex.com letter draped across my fairing is proof positive of
their deceptiveness and untruthfulness throughout this transaction.
S*** suddenly demanded payment of $for return my propertyNo
mention of any amount other than $had been made over the approximate two-month
period. S*** did this as punishment
for filing the Revdex.com complaint. They
released the *** funds back to me this week demanding a Postal Money Order
for $in advanceRaising the price
for filing a Revdex.com complaint is grossly unethical if not illegal; especially for my property they said was already shipped?
Draping the Revdex.com letter across the faring with the text of
their demand for more money is clear evidence of the untruthfulness. Yesterday, I even offered to pay their
current, and sudden demand, but no reasonable person would send these people a
money order given the dishonesty they have demonstrated. What is to prohibit them from raising the
price again after they receive the funds in this manner, or never sending it at
all. Keep in mind they told me it was
already shipped the day they draped the Revdex.com letter over it and texted me the
demand for more money. No ethical business
would tell the customer their product was already shipped when is wasn’t and
raise the price suddenly and only then upon notification of the Revdex.com
complaint. After that, I even offered to
pay via *** again but got no reply. It
is getting to the point where I would prefer to take a huge financial loss in
having my fairing stolen by them than to succumb to their bullying and
extortion. Noteworthy to mention is
their website states that they sell used fairingsAll my communication with MS
Re-Cycle has been via text and email, as they would not ever call me as
requested. I have copies of all the
texts and emails prepared in PDF format for review available upon request. I have no history of any credit chargebacks
whatsoever in my lifetime, with the sole exception of the *** dispute I
filed related to this matter. Mr
S***’s photo of my fairing in PA in his possession after he told me, in writing, it was
shipped, and would arrive before that day, with the Revdex.com letter draped over will
be attached speaks volumes. The public should be
protected against poor business practices such as displayed by MS Re-Cycle

Sept 24, 2017Dear *** ***:MS Re-Cycle has a history of providing high-quality sportbike fairing repairs and paint services with exceptional resultsThis is our first interaction with the Revdex.com in nearly years of business. The complainant contacted MS Re-Cycle in July to
repair a crack in a lower fairing for a Triumph TrophyThe initial estimate was $plus return shipping costs for the repair of one crack and repainting of a lower fairingThe complainant had paid $via *** on July 26, (which he later charged back.)When we received the shipment of the fairing from the complainant it was a mid fairing, which is a significantly larger fairing than a lower fairingIn addition to the crack, the fairing was heavily scratched, and the turn signal housing was damagedThe additional damage would add both to the cost of the repair and the length of time to finish the job.We had been in constant contact with the complainant and responded promptly to each requestMost requests were responded to within two hours of receiptThe longest it took for us to respond was on Sep We were impacted by an unrelated matter that kept us from providing an immediate responseOn that day, the complainant first contacted us at 6:AM and we responded at 4:09PMSince this is under hours and within the same business day, its seems quite heavy-handed to declare this delay as, “all communication from them has stopped.During this under hour period of time, the complainant initiated a dispute/chargeback to the initial $*** chargeAs a response, we pulled back his fairing from our shipperThe total amount due is $which includes: the initial $195, $for additional charges due to undisclosed damage and size, and $for return shipping. We acknowledge that it did take longer to complete the job than initially estimated, both due to the additional size and damage, but also because we had issues on our end, as the color proved difficult to match both on face and flopWe communicated to the complainant throughout this timeWe have invested significantly more labor hours and materials than would normally be required for this type of jobWe spell out on our website, that we will always choose quality over speedWe take pride in each piece that we produce and always seek to exceed each customer's expectations and provide repairs that will last a lifetime under use.We have the complainant’s fairing completed and ready to be shipped upon paymentWe are requesting payment in the form of a USPS money order, due to his history of credit chargebacksUpon receipt of payment in full, we will gladly return his mid fairingWe have made a significant investment in this fairing: we are proud of the result and we know it will look great on the motorcycle.Thank you,Lindsey M
