December 12, 2017Re: [redacted] ***, Complaint ID # [redacted] To Whom It May Concern:We are in receipt of a complaint filed by the above referenced individual with regard to our business MtBaker Imaging Please consider this our formal response to [redacted] ***’s complaint The consumer complaint contained two requests of our company, which I have listed verbatim below I have accompanied those requests with the action Mt Baker Imaging has taken in response to these requestsThe work with the credit agencies to guarantee my credit score is not affected by collections since the error was theirs and I paid the moment I knew about a bill and all my past bills have been paid before the due date.ACTION TAKEN – Electronic communication sent to our collection agency advising that the consumer had paid the assigned balance in full as of 10/27/and to remove the collection listing Requested that they send a letter to the consumer advising of this removal They figure out why the bills were returned to them and fix their system so I get future bills without having to call them to ask how much I owe.ACTION TAKEN – Confirmed that address where statements were sent and address on approved registration from signed off on by consumer at time of appointment matched (signed registration form included) Confirmed statement submission xto consumer Followed up with voice mail to consumer advising of electronic option for receiving statements as opposed to mailings and asked that she call with any additional questions.In response to the consumer’s detailed explanation of complaint, Mt Baker Imaging states the following: We have the ability to request and listen to each and every phone call made to our billing agency as they are recorded We pay for this service to ensure our patients are being treated and handled as we would expect since we utilize a third party billing agency In listening to the phone conversation from 10/27/between the consumer and the customer service agent, the agent handled [redacted] ’s call with courtesy and professionalism At the end of the conversation, he asked if there was anything additional he could do for her and made no attempt to rush off the phone However, the agent did fail to offer [redacted] the option of setting up her account to receive electronic statements via email as opposed to paper as a means of avoiding the potential for this situation to occur in the future I have personally provided this education to our client service representative for our billing company to pass along to all staff as a reminder and I also personally left a voice message for [redacted] explaining this electronic statement option I offered an apology that the agent failed to mention this during her call with him on 10/27/ [redacted] and I have exchanged multiple voice mails but have never actually spoken.We hope that this will resolve any further concerns with regard to the filed complaint and we are hopeful that [redacted] will continue to seek care with Mt Baker Imaging.Sincerely,Stacy M***Billing Manager, Revenue Cycle & ContractingMtBaker Imaging & Northwest Radiologists###-###-####

This has been a on going billing issue where first insurance was not applied until they finally found it and applied then tried to send a rebate checkI set up automatic payments through their phone service after a payment I made This never took placeRecently I was told the refund check I did not cash was being researched by management I asked they actually apply the amount instead which was why I did not cash it and figure this outBy now I know I have over paidThe girl wanted me to pay more so I paid another $to maintain while management figured out the many problems, I never heard back and instead I was sent a letter from a collections agency

I received a recorded phone call on 10/27/that I owed money and that all my bills had been returned to MtBaker Imaging and to please call I called and found out if was for an MRI in June and I had already been sent to collections They said the last bill was sent in SeptemberI never received any billsI explained that I always pay my account before bills are due and I certainly would have paid if I got a bill and the recording said that the mailed bills had been returned to the company The customer service agency had no further informationI paid immediately over the phone and asked how they can make sure my credit was not affected The agent said he could not do anything about that and just kept trying to end the call I asked how we can avoid this situation in the future as I don't want to miss bills He said I'd need to call them a month after the procedure and ask for the amount due I said this was not acceptable and that in a month insurance wouldn't have paid t

I have to say that I am not a fan of being treated like a child; I was going in for an ultrasound to check my babies heart and gender, and the women who did it was Emi (didn't get a last name)She was just out and out rude; and rushed through my exam, she acted like I was stupid when I asked her about checking genderLike saying "I showed you that the umbilical cord is in the way, remember?" I was like yeah, though she only looked for maybe five secondsI asked if she could look from a different angle, she flipped the wand around (I have no idea how she could see anything, she was moving around so fast), and told me no, and come back in a month...which I don't want to doAnd my take home pictures were all torn and bent, and one big blur; I was baffledHow can people who work with concerned pregnant women be so mean? I kept hearing that this place was great, but how can they be so great when my pictures are blurry and bent, and she took no time with me at allI felt like just a number on her pay check, and that isn't how things should be at allShe isn't the only rude staff they have though, some of their front ladies are rude too, such as paying on their phone while checking me in and suchI was just surprised, after being told that they are great

April 22016, I received an letter from Mt Baker Imaging, stating I overpaid $and will be issued an refundMay I called to check on the status of refund, I was told it was a month process and it would be ready in AugustI called on August and was informed that there was a delay and that my refund would be issued by OctoberI called in October to be told that there is the check machine was not workingI have called back numerous times to be told that the refunds dept is holding it upWhen I ask to speak to the refunds dept, I was told that they didn't have a direct lineSince November, I have been receiving the "runaround" without any direct answers
