Response from Service Mgr., *** ***: Customer brought vehicle in on 2/16/with an oil leak coming from oil filter housing area and appeared to have been cracked by being over-tightened and had tool marks on it from being removed/installedOil was leaking into a galley pan behind the vehicle
intakeVehicle was inspected and oil change reminder sticker on windshield showed it to recently have had the oil and filter changed at 11,miles on 1/12/at another facilityThe staff at MtEphraim Dodge was not informed of the complete story that the vehicle was taken for that oil change due to a leak and with the information at hand, the customer was advised by the service advisor that at the time it was not to be considered a warranty repair due to the appearance of outside influence causing the housing to crack.Customer returned on 3/01/after speaking with the General Manager and the Service Manager to have the vehicle reinspectedUpon speaking with the customer and getting all of the information, I informed the customer that I would contact my factory representative about getting the repair covered under warrantyI was confident that I could gain approval for this repair, but was following the proper steps to assure tha the customer could get satisfaction and that the manufacturer would also pay for the repairIn this time period customer went to another dealer that repaired at that time.Customer was not charged - No Charge

The customer was initially asked for additional down payment by the bank, however she has since been in our dealership to finalize the paperwork which did not require any additional monies toward the vehicleThank you

Customer was contacted by our General Sales Mgrand advised to bring the vehicle in for service as it is a new vehicle and covered under the year 36,mile manufacturer's warrantyThis was the first time we have record of contact with the customer and are eager to assist the customer in
rectifying the situation at his convenienceCustomer indicated that he would contact us to set up a time to bring in the vehicle and that we would arrange a vehicle for him to drive the day it in in for service

The customer was contacted when we received this information and was promptly contacted to arraign for the second key to be provided to *** ***The second key was made and programmedThis should satisfy the issue

Ms. [redacted] came into our dealership after receiving an advertisement in the mail. When she arrived here our Used Car Mgr. needed to look at one or both of the [redacted]'s vehicles in order to determine their value. That is where the process normally begins. Neither Ms. [redacted] nor her husband were...

willing to have their vehicle appraised. I don't think the husband even exited his vehicle but did yell obscenities at our employees. We're sorry that the customer wasn't able to be helped with their vehicle situation. Best Wishes to the [redacted]'s for their future vehicle purchases or leases.

I am rejecting this response because:
[redacted] the dealership GM called me on 10/5 at that time I informed him I was in FL on vacation and will touch base with him when...

we return 10/12. He never stated that they will resolve the issue. [redacted] told me to come in and he will look at the car and we can discuss a deal!!! I will NOT be paying for new tires and the certification for my vehicle when it was the dealerships responsibility. I will real out to dealership when we return from FL to discuss a time to take my car in for replacement tires at the dealerships cost. Will follow up with Revdex.com once this is done.

After review of all paperwork involved with [redacted] purchase of his 2013 [redacted] we have found that everything that was signed by [redacted] and his Co Purchaser clearly stated a 75 month term. Everyone that purchases a vehicle is afforded more then ample time to review all documents before...

signing. However, we here at Mt. Ephraim Chrysler Dodge as a gesture of Good Faith are willing to split the amount that he is disputing of $710.34 and refund him $355.17. We have attempted to contact [redacted] in regards to this complaint but have yet to hear from him. We look forward to hearing from [redacted] in response to this Good Faith gesture by us.[redacted]

Customer brought in vehicle for the 1st time on 11/19 with complaint of alarm going off when locked. Completed initial diagnosis of $119.00. During diagnosis found multiple 3rd party/non OEM add ons such as alarm and remote start. Customer stated that car was bought used and was unaware of add on...

equipment. Customer was informed that aftermarket alarm had to be removed 1st before it would be known if other repairs were needed and if needed further costs would ensue, customer authorized additional wiring repair/removal at that time. After removal car was let alone for over 2 hours in the shop and checked periodically throughout the day and alarm never went off. Car returned to customer Customer returned 2 months later on 1/6/15 with repeat concern, at that time customer was never charged for time spent (approx. 2.5 hours @ $119.00 per hour) and concern was never duplicated. Car returned to customer with no charges. Customer returned 1/12/15 with same concern and that alarm going off was wearing down battery and was not charged for over 3 hours of time spent, car started without jump start and was brought into the shop. Battery tested good and alarm did go off in shop for the 1st time. Found no codes stored or active explaining possible cause. Chrysler technical support contacted for guidance in possible root cause, but customer took vehicle back before additional diagnosis and/or repair could be completed. Customer only charged for initial diagnosis and repair with the knowledge that further repairs may be needed and after authorizing this. Customer was never charged for the additional 5.5 hours/$650 worth of time spent.

Customer was issued a refund check #[redacted] for $63.67 on 6/30/2015 to [redacted]. Check # [redacted] was cashed on 7/7/15.Please close this complaint at your convenience.

Customer has spoken with Our Service mgr, Jim B[redacted] to resolve this matter. Customer received a replacement part (timing chain cover) for free and signed off that this was an acceptable resolution. Thank you.
