In response to complaint ID [redacted] regarding 3 Aspen trees purchased at Mr Garfield Greenhuse 4-25-2016, I first would like to express my appologies for your expierence at our Nursery. I would like to resolved this issue to your satisfaction and woud add that this is not normal at this buisness....
Althought most customers enjoy our service & products, unfortunately some will feel differently. We strive to give the best service possible and this is an isolated situation. In regard to the condition of the tree that was returned (I saw one) I do not wish to contest your statements, however there could be several issues at hand with the condition of the trees. During the Spring rains, mildew & fungus was a major problem with many plants, trees & others. Fruit growers were spraying to prevent these issues. The best protcol for resolving suspected issues with one of our products would be to contact us prior to digging up a plant, discuss the possible causes then potential remedies. Digging up is a last ditch response. As far as response to your complaint, #1 Employees can make decisions when owners are not present. The employee in question felt he was following proper procedure#2 In the summer season, owners are either out of the office for extended periods or in and out. The respnse was delayed due to this fact.#3 I would have handled this situation differently, we generally give customers the benefit of the doubt.Please accept my appology for your expierence and realize that we do strive to provide excellent service.RespectfullyLarry R[redacted]Partner Mt.
