In June I purchased a Service Agreement for $which would allow me a Spring and Fall check of my AC/Heating system Never heard from them for my Fall check They have closed the doors and gone out of business so I am out the $for my Fall check

I am rejecting this response because: It doesn't address the issues I have no voice mails from the business even tho they state they've tried to call I paid $600, which they accepted, and then sent a statement for an additional $900, which is more than the original charge Now, they are stating the bill is $1605, you will find attached a copy of their statement for $and invoice given to me for $I believe with the array of prices, it's clear they have no true pricing system they just charge whatever they feel like

The invoice submitted by Mrs*** was never turned in by the technician After speaking with the owner, he is going to honor the invoice The amount we submitted originally of $included tax The invoice the customer attached in her complaint for $was the discounted amount approved by the owner But since the technician created an invoice on his own, this is the one we will honor We apologize for this matter

We received a phone call from Mr*** in regards to his $deductible charged by his warranty company, American Home Shield Mr*** stated he was at the residence during our technician's visit and saw the transaction occur between our technician and his wife Later Mr***
stated he was not present or at home during this transaction Mr*** started verbally attacking our technician by phone and accusing him of being a thief Mr*** told us we needed to be made aware of our technician's dishonest ways The paperwork is signed by Mrs*** with no indication of payment made for the deductible We contacted AHS & turned the matter over to them

We are required to follow the guidelines of the warranty company we are bond by, in this care - American Home Shield It would be best if he contacted them directly regarding their policy and procedures on replacement equipment We have to repair/replace based on their recommendations and policy requirements We can't go outside their regulations

I am rejecting this response because: I told the owner and the owner's daughter/secretary that I had that invoice and they insisted I pay more, even sending the statement for nearly twice that amount.  The only settlement they offered was a flat $1000 made payable directly to the owner and not the company, still more than the invoice amount.  They stated they used more than one $600 can of freon when the invoice by the servicing technician clearly states he only used $200 worth.  I believe that through blatant attempts to deceive and charge more than a fair amount, that the amount paid and accepted as a cashed check by the company, should bring this matter to a close. I feel I have been fair and would like to consider this matter closed.

The compressor was replaced in June 2015.  When the compressor went out this year, it was under warranty.  At the time of the initial installation, the owner did the installation for a discounted price of just the item.  The customer was not charged for the freon or labor.  When...

the compressor was replaced this year, the owner sent two technicians to complete the job.  The cost of $1605 only includes the freon and labor.  A jug of freon costs over $600.00, and we used over a jug to fill the unit.  We tried contacting Mrs. [redacted] by mail and phone without any response.  We sent a certified letter indicating the payment of $900 is due by August 12, 2016.  We discounted the amount of $1605.00 to $1500.00.  The cost of the compressor was not a part of the $1605.00, since it was under warranty.  The price we quoted & have stood by, has been the same.

Mr. [redacted] has a warranty through American Home Shield, Contract # [redacted].  The repair process of AHS is to have a HVAC company repair or replace to fix the issue in question.  AHS does not guarantee the part replaced or fixed will be the same color as the previous part....

 We follow the guidelines of American Home Shield and their policies.  If the customer is unsatisfied with the repair or replacement, he needs to contact his warranty company, AHS at 1-800-[redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: the company puts the responsibility on others and does not accept responsibility. I will do my best to make sure all that I have contact me knows the irresponsibility of this company.
