I absolutely do not recommend MtMoriah to anyoneI found the vehicle I wanted and filled out my online credit app, at which point I was told my credit was great, so I began the process to purchase the vehicle I wantedI explained that I was working in another state, and wouldn't be able to sign papers until Saturday ( which was days away) I stayed in contact with my salesman during this time to make sure we were still set for me to come and get the vehicleI was assured we were, so after working a hour shift on Friday I drove miles over night, had very little sleep, and proceed to Mt Moriah Saturday morning, just as I said I would, I'm literally minutes away from the place when my salesman calls and tells me they're selling the vehicle out from under meI call the office and get told they've just finished the saleThen after all this they tell me if I would've put money down to hold the vehicle they wouldn't have sold itNo one ever even mentioned any thing about this to me, and I stayed in contact with them for days to make sure everything was in orderCome to find out the broker of the vehicle told another salesman there that it was ok to go ahead and sell itMy salesman happened to find out what was going on and tried to stop it, I don't recommend this dealerI especially don't recommend Nick A*** the vehicle brokerHe was rude from the first moment I spoke to himI have no idea if it's the fact that he was speaking to a woman, or if he's just a horses butt in general, but he could seriously use some mannersIf your looking for a good deal and very clean super nice vehicles I recommend *** in ***They have a low shipping rate, and are extremely helpfulAs it turned out I got a newer vehicle with less miles at a great price

I have had nothing but a positive experience at MtMoriah I've bought cars from MrTim P*** and he has gone above and beyond on every car It bugs me that you always hear the bad stuff but when you have a good experience no one says anything Hopefully by posting this someone will know that you can have a good experience at MtMoriah because I have had great experiences I don't know about the other people there, but I can tell you Tim P*** is fantastic to buy a car from

the oil is going into the gasket and I have to buy oil at least once a week. I was told the car had been serviced before I purchased it.I had the car about 3 days and the oil light came on and said add oil. I told Mr Hogue and I was reimbursed for the oil and I took the car back and was told it was fixed. But it never was. I went to an auto shop and they checked the car and wrote a repair paper saying what was wrong and said the dealer should have corrected this problem before I purchased the car.Desired SettlementI want them to repair the oil gasket that is leaking into the gasket.Business Response Mrs [redacted] came in September [redacted] and we did not find an oil leak. This is the frst we've heard of the problem and if she would like to call us we would be glad to check out her vehicle.

First thing that happen was two weeks after I drive the car home the check engine came on alon g with other lights on the dash board. There was also rumbling on the front end and the car has trouble changing gears. When I brought this too the attention of dealership they said to bring the car in so I did. They never told me what was wrong with the car, they just said we have to order the parts and they would call me when they came in they never called so I called them then they said the parts was in and to bring the car. So when I talk to the manager [redacted] he was very unprofessional and tried to talk down to me telling me the car hasn't quit on you has it. Then he said we will check every thing out,the car still had th we rumbling on the front end and car still had trouble changing gears and 5 days later all the lights were on again in the dash board including the check engine light. I don't believe any thing they say now because they lied about fixing the car. They can't be trusted I wouldn't advise any one to buy a car from them, and know I'm still waiting .Desired SettlementMy desire is to exchange the car I have for another worth the same value, because I don't trust the deal ship anymore because they gave me the run around about getting the car fixed at first and then they said they fixed the car and gave me the car back in the same condition I gave it to them except the lights being on in the dash board, but 5 days later they were back on. Now I feel like I've enter into this contract and know I'm being screwed. They can't be truste.Business Response MT Moriah Auto Sales sold [redacted] a [redacted] on 8-4-15. Mr [redacted] brought the car back in on 8-17-15 because the check engine light was on. Mt Moriah put a vent solenoid on the car and it fixed one of the problems. We told Mr [redacted] we had to order another part and it was safe to drive. We order another part from [redacted]. The part came in 3 days later. We've called Mr [redacted] several times to let him know his parts were in. He never returned our call. on 9-11-15 Mr [redacted] called and said he was going to bring the car in this week.Thank you,[redacted]Mt Moriah Auto Sales

Upon my first visit to Mt. Moriah Auto Sales I completed an application with a salesman by the name of **. He noticed that I would need a co signer and my grandmother agreed and gave him all of the necessary information, from this point he contacted me a day later saying he had great news I could come in and pick out a car which I did and test drove it. I was so excited he exclaimed that I needed to put a minimum amount of 500 down. I told him I had 400 at the time and would have to go to the bank for the remainder. ** took the money in cash on 01/21/2014 and gave me a receipt. After three days of saying we were waiting on the bank to fax over the last bit of paper in order for me to sign and receive my car. He informed me via phone calls that I had indeed been approved for the Nissan [redacted] 06 and that I could retrieve it on Friday 01/24/14 after calling on Friday he said to come early Saturday and on Saturday postponed until Monday. Becoming frustrated I visit the dealership unbeknownst to **. I asked him to either refund me or give me the car keys as he had agreed. He refused and ask me to sign a form. I spoke with his managers and he advise me that the receipt was FAKE. The manager [redacted] and [redacted] spoke with me and the next morning refunded my $400, however the next day ** was still at the dealership and of all things working. Seeing him still employed as a car salesman shows that members of management support his actions. I truly appreciate [redacted] and [redacted] for refunding my cash, however what about the future clients of ** that will not be as fortunate. I am highly disappointed at the unfortunate circumstances and pray that in the future others are treated better. This is sadly why Used Car Salesman receive such negative reviews.Desired SettlementI would love to have receive a decent vehicle from Mt. Moriah Auto Sales and after receiving my refund I alone with my mother spoke with the manager about going alone with receiving a vehicle. To my surprise they asked for MORE of a down payment as if I had not endured enough. I disagreed and left Mt. Moriah Auto Sales with thoughts of NEVER returning.

Purchased vehicle & assured it had no issues. Within a week, the vehicle was leaning to pass side. Company will not pay for parts...only labor.Salesman said company would take care of repairs if there was a problem with vehicle right after we purchased it. When we took it in, he wrote up repair paper which I later found torn up in the trash can. We wrote letter to them about situation & manager is only agreeing to pay for labor which will probably happen at the shop on their property. It is unacceptable to spend $1000 in repairs on a car before first car payment is due.Desired SettlementWe want Mt. Moriah Auto to pay for labor & repairs. They have a shop on the property and should not be selling defective vehicles. Business Response Mt Moriah Auto Sales sold Mr and Mrs [redacted] a [redacted] on 6-15-15. We sold the [redacted] "AS IS". In good faith, Mt Moriah Auto Sales has agreed to pay for the labor if Mr and Mrs [redacted] pays for the parts. They have agreed to this process. Thanks,[redacted]

Purchased vehicle and within 30 days transmission went out. Was told no warranty was available for truck. Dealer picked up truck & assess, refuses fixThe Chevy Avalanche was purchased March 5, 16 with 79400 miles. Was told upon purchase that there was no warranty available for this vehicle, after asking several times to purchase additional warranties. Was also told upon purchase the vehicle had a clear CARFAX, and was inspected and cleared from the dealership. Thirty days after purchase, two weeks before our first payment was even due, and only 500 miles later, the vehicle's transmission went out. We were over 150 miles from home stranded on the side of the road. Called dealership several times to request help and left over 15 messages, with no return call. By way of a tow truck we were able to get the truck home, for over $300. The next day, the dealer (who sold us the truck using Mount Moriah Auto Sales dealership) called us and told us to bring the vehicle in on Monday morning and he would take care of it. We let him know that we were not taking responsibility and that he would have to come pick the vehicle up, as it was not drivable. Monday April 11, 2016. We came home and apparently the dealer had picked the truck up. We waited. Two days later the dealer called and said the total would come to $1,100 to replace the transmission and that now he was not taking care of this. I asked him why the dealership told us no warranty was available for this truck. He explained that a warranty was definitely NOT offered due to the age of the truck. I explained that this is not our responsibility as the vehicle was sold under fraudulent notions. I spoke with Chris the manager at the dealership and he said we should have purchased the warranty that was offered. I explained that we requested a warranty however, was told by the dealership one was not offered for the vehicle and that the dealer supported that thought. He stated he could do nothing and that we must deal with the dealer if we want something done. The owner, the manager, nor the dealer will take responsibility for a fraudulent sale. The vehicle had too much damage, for this to not be a cover up. I am requesting that either the dealership and dealer keep the vehicle and replace it with a working one OR take care of the cost of fixing the vehicle they sold me.Desired SettlementI am requesting that the dealership and dealer keep the vehicle and replace it with a working one OR take care of the cost of fixing the vehicle they sold me.Business Response Mt Moriah auto sales purchased an 07 chev avalanche on 2-9-16. Scott W[redacted] was the broker that purchased the vehicle. The Miles on the vehicle were 79648. On 2-9-16 the truck went into the Svc dept at Mt moriah auto sales for an inspection. The tech found a few minor things wrong with the trk. Scott was notified and approved all of the work which was a little over $500. Scott drove the trk for several days and put about 65 miles on it. Mr [redacted] bought the truck on 3-5 2016 the miles were 79713. Mr [redacted] contacted Scott about a month later and stated the transmission was out. Mr [redacted] bought the vehicle AS-Is. Scott told Mr [redacted] he would help him get it to S&S transmission and they would charge him Mt. Moriah or dealer cost which is a lot less than retail. the trk has 81645 on the miles. Mr [redacted] approved to have the trk fixed at S&S transmission. The trk is fixed and waiting on Mr [redacted] to pick it up and take care of the charges at S&s transmission.

I absolutely do not recommend Mt. Moriah to anyone. I found the vehicle I wanted and filled out my online credit app, at which point I was told my credit was great, so I began the process to purchase the vehicle I wanted. I was assured we were, so after working a 10 hour shift on Friday I drove 500 miles over night, had very little sleep, and proceed to Mt Moriah Saturday morning, just as I said I would, I'm literally 10 minutes away from the place when my salesman calls and tells me they're selling the vehicle out from under me. I call the office and get told they've just finished the sale. Then after all this they tell me if I would've put money down to hold the vehicle they wouldn't have sold it. No one ever even mentioned any thing about this to me, and I stayed in contact with them for 4 days to make sure everything was in order. Come to find out the broker of the vehicle told another salesman there that it was ok to go ahead and sell it. My salesman happened to find out what was going on and tried to stop it, I don't recommend this dealer. I especially don't recommend Nick A[redacted] the vehicle broker. He was rude from the first moment I spoke to him. I have no idea if it's the fact that he was speaking to a woman, or if he's just a horses butt in general, but he could seriously use some manners. If your looking for a good deal and very clean super nice vehicles I recommend [redacted] in [redacted]. They have a low shipping rate, and are extremely helpful. I went into dealership to purchase a car.I was approach by salesman [redacted] who helped me trough the process. I told Mr [redacted] my driver license was suspended and had been for several year and he told me he could work around that. He stated that he was going through his bank which is [redacted] And [redacted] Inc.[redacted] Tn. During the sale he was able to put me in some insurance which was very expensive. I tried to obtain insurance on my on for less expensive but was unable to because I have no driver license. How was he able too? I had car since April 2014. In Nov.2014 they came and repoed car I was three days late on payment. When I inquired about it because I was told I had 5 day grace period they told me because insurance had lapse. I told them about no one insurancing me because I have no license and they told me if was nothing they could do. So I ask could I come get my things from car they said yes and they had my car on the front parking lotwith the other cars ready for sale. I told them you all scammed me and knew I couldn't insure car that was you all intention and that why you all already got it for sale.Product_Or_Service: carDesired SettlementInform other consumers to be aware of them. They are taking advantage of people and some how commiting fraud. Also give me my down payment back.Business Response [redacted] purchased a 2004 [redacted] from[redacted]. HE PURCHASED insurance thru [redacted] The vehicle was financed by [redacted] ins notified [redacted] after 30 days that Mr.[redacted] had cancelled his ins. [redacted] contacted Mr[redacted] and told hoim if h didnt get insurance his vehicled would be repo'd. Months went by and he did not purchase insurance so [redacted] repo'd his car. Mt. Moriah Auto Sales does not provide insurance or finance vehicles. [redacted] paid mt moriah auto sales for the contract .Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)Wasnt able to purchase insurance after the insurance they provided lapse because I have no driver license. I told salesman who is was on contract[redacted] and he stated he could get around that. So who is[redacted]? That the name he told me. He also knew that without driver license I couldn't obtain auto insurance. They have some deal with able that some how worked around me not having license, but when I tried to obtain insurance less expensive no one would insure me because I have no license. I never financed a car before and I didn't no this would happen. Also I made my payments to salesman I never paid to finance company. Sometimes I will go make payment and if he wasnt there he will tell me to leave it in a secret place. Final Business Response This issue is really between the customer and the lienholder and the insurance company. It really is beyond Mt. Moriah Auto Sales control. If you as a customer don't pay the car note or insurance lapses then the lienholder will repo the car. if there are any questions please call us and we can discuss. If not I consider this case closed
