Review: I had a mail box at mountain postal for about 6 months and I had an overnight package sent on 10/24/2015.It got delivered on 10/24/15 to the mountain postal pack and ship by the postmaster herself. She delivered the express mail that day and has confirmed that she dropped off an express mail on 10/24. Her name is Janet and she confirmed she delivered it to. [redacted] the owner.Well I never got my express mail from this place. They told me they log every express mail and they have a system but only one express mail was delivered on 10/24/2015 and they didn't log anything. They placed blame on the USPS but all indications are they have stolen my mail. Please helpDesired Settlement: I would like my express mail

In response to your letter, I want to tell you everything I know about this issue. First, we are a mailbox rental facility whose main function is to process mail and parcels. We have about 200 mailbox customers and this gentleman was one of them. The store has been in business for many years. Mr. [redacted] claims that we received a Priority Envelope form the US mail carrier and have refused to give it to him. This is based on what the post office told him regarding the delivery. We never received his envelope. If we had, we would have passed it along to him like we have been doing with all the other items we process. On the day in question, the mail carrier brought us a package, but it was not for Mr. [redacted]. We never signed for his envelope nor is there any record of the postal carrier having brought us his envelope. We have taken apart our store in the hopes of finding it. We thought that perhaps it was misplaced or had fallen behind something. Our extensive search has been fruitless. In attempting to make sense of this issue, we wonder if the carrier did not deliver it to the wrong address. Those kinds of things have been known to happen. If so, perhaps it will be turned in by some honest person one day. We hope so. Sincerely[redacted], Owner P.S. – We refunded Mr. [redacted] the balance of the money he paid for his mailbox although our Rental Agreement states that it is non-refundable. I am rejecting this response because:I know for a fact that they got my express mail package bc it was confirmed by the post master herself bc she delivered the express mail packages that day. She confirmed she stopped at that store and saw the owner [redacted] which he also confirmed that she stopped in to drop off a package. She doesn't deliever priority mail and sisnt on that day. I have sent enough express mail to know exactly how it works and I have never had a problem with express mail from USPS.This business has placed blame on the USPS saying they suck and told me to use Fed Ex or UPS. They placed blame on the postmaster [redacted] whom they called a liar. They also were very deceptive to me when I did my own investigations as to what happened with this package. They claimed that they logged every express mail, that they have a system and log them into a log sheet. When pressed further on the issue about what was logged on the Saturday my package came missing that they don't log every express or priority unless it had to be signed for. The owner [redacted] couldn't even look me in the eye while discussing this. They said very strange things to me like " for all we know you could have picked your package up" " we think there is something shady in the package" and they constantly ask me what was in the package all reasons why I know they have my package. I reject all responses from this business, I did my own investigations and they have been confirmed by [redacted] the postmaster from al Tahoe Blvd post office. I know that they received my package and they are keeping it on me. I don't believe a word that they are saying and they are trying to delay the outcome by taking several days to respond in hopes this will go away. I also believe they are saying that my package " might show up" so that if the beat is to much they can simply say oh here is your package! They failed miserably at thier job and business. Please help me get my package!!

Dear Sir:It's very disappointing that this gentleman is so convinces of our wrong-doing. I have nothing new to add. The package has not shown up. We never called anyone a liar- particularity the postmaster. We are not blaming them. We are simply saying that the package never arrived here. In addition, he has misinformation about the issue of how we "log" packages. If we are not required to sign for a letter or box then we don not log. Perhaps Mr. [redacted] misunderstood this.When we attempted to track the package, back at the beginning of this issues, the records showed that an individual picked it up from the post office. That's all the entries we could find. There is absolutely no proof that we did anything wrong.Sincerely, [redacted]

Hello There,I am currently out of town visiting my family in Florida. I called the Al Tahoe post office to talk with [redacted] and she is away on vacation until Tuesday of next week and I am out of town until the 5th. [redacted] is the one who dropped off the package. She confirmed this with me on the Monday following 10/24 when my package went missing. Thier is no doubt that they robbed my package and the reason why is bc they know that even though it was an express mail the signature is waved and they don't log express packages unless signature is required. They knew they could steal my package and claim thier is no proof that they did it. I have the Postmaster's word she delivered it. Then the owners of mountain postal used a bunch of shady tactics to try to make it seem like they never got the package. It's a complete lie I had something very valuable in the package because I buy and sell high end sportscard on eBay and had just had a conversation with both owners the week before telling them what I do. I've sent 100's of express mail packages and have never had a problem until this package just disappeared. I may need more than a couple days to get I touch with [redacted] but don't let this place get away with robbing a customer like that.
