Review: MTR had given an estimate to the sellers of my home. MTR was issued a check written in their name to do the work after close (April 5, 2013). I called many times before my vacation week May 28 to schedule a date and [redacted] always told me he was 'on the road' or 'not near a calendar', but promised that he would get to me with a date and time. May 28 came and went and he scheduled a June 21 date. My husband took off work. The owner, [redacted], left a message late the night of June 20 to say 'your materials are not in, we are not coming'. I called the company yet again and got a woman who checked with the crew and scheduled me for July 3, 9AM. No crew showed up. A phone call to the company was met with more excuses and that they cannot come. The owner now tells me they are booked through August.Desired Settlement: Return of the $3000 that was arranged at the close of my house from seller's funds and I will hire another company to do the work of shoring up my bowing basement wall.

Sometime last year or early winter I met with a homeowner [redacted] and a Couple who were interested in house to purchase. I gave the [redacted]'s a estimate for five Carbon Fiber Straps to stabilize a bowed wall. The Real Estate Agent said they would be in touch no one called or mailed us anything so like a lot of estimates they are shredded. My friend who owns the bldg. were we were locate in North Versailles (months later) called me and said I had a piece of mail that looked important, I picked up mail and found a 3000.00 check with a note to scheduled her job I had no idea who [redacted] was so I called her, putting two and two together I told her we would call we were busy. She seemed very impatient but you have to wait your turn .Lots of calls from them trying to force the issue I should of put my foot down, but trying to be the nice guy I gave her a date but the carbon did not arrive on time so she scheduled for July 3rd or July 5th we were booked until the end of August since the Home Show in March. When we arrived my foreman called me and said her estimate has a problem she didn't have her HVAC moved so we installed 3 of five we have no idea when she will call but a have a hunch she will not let me know in advanced I have have no control over this. Review: We hired MT&R to build a basement under our home. MT&R subcontracted the work. The work was to be completed in three weeks. In July, it will be 2 years since we hired them and the work is still not completed. We have paid over $46,000 and we still do not have a completed basement. My husband has been trying to do the work himself because there was a huge safety issue and we could have lost our home completely if he would not have done the work to secure our home. We have additional expenses beyond the cost of the basement, which include cracks in our walls, ruined carpet from all the mud, and damage to some of our plants and trees.Desired Settlement: We want the job completed and to be reimbursed for all the extra money that we had to put into the job.

Review: I had my basement waterproofed with a french drain system, moisture barriers, sump pumps, and a Humidex air purification unit. The work was completed in February and since then I have been continuously trying to have them send me a completed work order form stating what exactly was done, when it was completed, the warranty information, the cost, and that all work was paid in full. I need this form for my financial records as well as for proof that the moisture issue in the basement has been professionally fixed if I want to sell the house in the future. Every time I speak with somebody from the company, they assure me that the invoice will be sent out and I have still not received anything.Desired Settlement: I would like them to send me an invoice stating what exactly was done, when it was completed, the warranty information, the cost, and that all work was paid in full.
