I called Mount Vernon Internal Medicine on Nov at 9:28am to cancel the appointment scheduled on Nov This appointment was scheduled well in advance of the hour required cancellation time-frame to avoid a no-show fee I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] The company says that they will adjust the fee, but does not explain the adjustmentIf, the fee is adjusted to $0; then this resolution is satisfactory to me Regards, [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because my PRIVATE medical records should have been sent me directly at my home (as requested) and NOT attached to a Revdex.com complaintThis a violation of privacy laws and completely inappropriate and unacceptable!!!! These people are truly incompetent!!!!*** ***

Good afternoon *** ***, This email is in response to complaint ID ***. We have reviewed the complaint that our patient, patient number ***, submitted to the Revdex.com. Our practice implemented a “no show” policy which is posted in every office stating that there will be a
charge for any patient who does not show for their appointment. This patient had rescheduled this appointment four times, which is fine. The patient finally settled on an appointment for 11/30/which was confirmed on 11/26/by our automated system. The automated system confirmed that the patient answered the call and accepted that she will be at the scheduled appointment on 11/30/15, a copy of the confirmation call can be provided if you so wish. We will however adjust the “no show” fee of $that the patient was charged for the appointment on 11/30/16. If you have any questions, please let us know. I called Mount Vernon Internal Medicine on 27 Nov 2015 at 9:28am to cancel the appointment scheduled on 30 Nov 2015. This appointment was scheduled well in advance of the 24 hour required cancellation time-frame to avoid a no-show fee.
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted]. The company says that they will adjust the fee, but does not explain the adjustment. If, the fee is adjusted to $0; then this resolution is satisfactory to me.
