I disagree with the complaint for several reasons. Gregs Home... Improvements wrote a proposal to Mr [redacted] for a total cost of $11,969 to complete repairs to his home at [redacted] in [redacted] . Our company began and completed the repairs to Mr [redacted] satisfaction. The home was inspected by his mortgage companies home inspector who also agreed that work was satisfactorily complete. During the roof process, it became clear that several sheets of decking needed replaced, as is often found when tearing off and replacing an older roof. Mr [redacted] was aware of the extra charges required to cover the cost of additional materials, as was [redacted] at National City Funding. I received payment of $5984.50 and a second payment of $6929.50 was later received for final payment. Both payments were received from the mortgage company National City Funding. Generally, we submit a receipt to the payer of the account if requested. In this case, the mortgage lender made payment, not Mr. ***.
