BEWARE of A & P Automotive Company I recently took my vehicle here to get a new starter and my front struts replacedWhen I went in on a TUESDAY MORNING, I told them that I had a squeak coming from my struts and that my car clicks here and there so I needed to get a new starterI left my car with them , and got a call back saying the starter has been replaced and I'm "good to go"I then had to remind them of my strut replacementI immediately felt like they ignored me or didn't take me seriously as a customerThey then proceeded to "do repairs " but my car wasn't ready until 5:on WEDNESDAY EVENINGI got there , and as I was pulling out of the lot, I was ecstatic because my starter and my strut replacement came out PERFECTLY � but I just wondered why my car was held so long until closing until I got home and realized that there was coolant liquid all over my tires and the pavementSo I figured they realized they messed up and didn't want to be bothered with my complaints for that daySo I met back with them on Thursday morning at opening (AM the next day), told them the situation and they said they would look and see what was wrongI sat there nearly hours before they told me what I already knew THERE WAS A HOLE IN THE COOLANT TANKbut as I was told thisI was also hit with a price quoteso I asked why I would be charged ? Because this wasn't happening until after I left the shop but they insisted that "there's no way we could've done thatThe tank is old." I was extremely frustrated and Disappointed because I WILLFULLY spent nearly $in repairs and now they were asking for nearly to replace to tankBUT eventually the store owner agreed to let me have the service done for free but it should've initially been thatI felt taken advantage of and playedMY STRUT AND STARTER REPLACEMENT WERE FIVE STARS BUT THE WAY I WAS TREATED, and THE AMOUNT OF TIME WASTED , and HOW I WAS NEARLY AT RISK OF PAYING FOR SOMETHING THAT I WAS NOT RESPONSIBLE FORStar UPDATE: week later, the tank they replaced doesn't drip, but doesn't hold coolantTank empties out from point A to point BCaused my car to overheat today 6/8/I find out they caused a blown gasket headCoolant now leaks into my oil and engineI called and told them and was told to take it to the nearest shopThey did not offer to help again with the issue they createdI will NEVER go back to this placeThey made a statement that "it's a good running car!" Well, it was but not anymoreYou all have cost me another car , and I hope that you are happy with yourselves - AN ENRAGED CUSTOMER

Brought my mustang gt in for a clutch around November of last yearBought name brand partsAfter the install clutch still wasn't rightWas told I it could be the adjusterI bought the adjuster and paid them to install itOnce I got the car back it still wasn't rightLooked under the hood to find the firewall adjuster wasn't on the fairewallGet told to bring it up thereI did just to have the mechanic tell me it I stalls under the carI knew this was wrong so I decided to take it to a different shopFound out the the clutch was forced on and the inner clutch bearings on the clutch it's self was cracked and the firewall adjuster was no where on the car?I paid to have the clutch redoneCalled to tell them I get asked to bring the car back up thereI refused as all they would do is mess it up even more to try and cover their mistakeTheir mechanic has no clue what he is doingI feel they owe me my original
