This response is in regards to the previous response from the customer, [redacted]. The customer states that the previous statements are incorrect, however most of the conversations were between her mother and the Solutions department for Petland Fairfax, so the customer has no recollection of these conversations due to her not being a part of them. All conversations are documented and recorded.[redacted] called the Solutions department for the first time ever on 5/17/2016 which is 2 months and 12 days passed the purchase date of 3/5/2016. The customer advised that the puppy has been bleeding since purchase, however never made a phone call until 5/17/2016 to report the issue. Customer advised that her puppy was dealing with different types of worms with her puppy. [redacted]s mother called the following day, providing an update on the puppy, and that there was not a confirmed diagnosis made as of yet. Blood Work was to be done for more information. The Solutions department advised that the customer was at this time passed her 10 day viral warranty and the diagnosis needed to be something hereditary/congenital to process the claim. 5/19/2016 the customers called back and advised that they did bloodwork on the puppy and were awaiting results. Customer requested reimbursement on diagnostics which under the warranty that they signed, read, and agreed to on the date of purchase, are not covered. Customer asked about using a wet closer to her home, she was advised that that would be fine, but not covered under warranty, she understood. On 5/24/2016 the customer's mother called back with an update on the bloodwork, and that the results are abnormal. Customer did not provide a diagnosis as of yet, nor a letter of diagnosis. On 5/25/2016 the mother called back and they were contemplating euthanasia for their puppy due to a surgery that was needed to correct the issue. Solutions requested all wet paperwork from the customer. 7 days later the mother [redacted] called back and advised that they consulted with another wet and the surgery was too costly for them, so she was looking into rescue organizations to assist them. On 6/4/2016 the customers called in advising they euthanized the puppy. [redacted], the customer's mother was the main contact for this claim. She advised that she was not wanting to get another puppy from the Petland Fairfax and was requesting only the price of the puppy refunded to their card/financing. After discussion, Petland Fairfax agreed to go above and beyond the warranty and refund the price of the puppy (S3075.00) to the customer. The customer received a refund of $2210.00 on her [redacted] Card, and a credit of $1500 back onto her Petland Credit Card. This amount includes the tax that was refunded as well. The Petland Fairfax went well above their warranty by offering the customer a refund, and the customer should follow up with Petland Credit Card about an remaining refund she is Owed.

We can sit here all day and go back and forth...this dog was as good as dead the day she was purchased. She was taken into Petland's preferred vet one day after purchase for her bleeding at which point a Parvo test was taken. This pup vomited continually, had worms by the boatload and never once had a decent bowel movement...just pools of blood. I sleep well at night knowing I did everything I could for this pup. All vet records are available to which Petland has all copies. All funds were not returned to my credit card as Petland states. A little over $1,700 was returned to my [redacted] account...not the $2,100 stated. I can in fact demonstrate proof to that effect. My mother did in fact assist me through the entire nightmare with my pup and that is a fact. Petland knowingly sold me a dead dog walking and we can sit here all day long and go back and forth however it is a matter of fact. Purchasing an animal at a Pet store is a mistake that I will never make again in my lifetime. Lesson learned...the hard way.
