In July of 2013 I was contacted via [redacted] through an ad I had posted. I was contacted by Mr. [redacted], whom at the time was the General Contractor on a project at [redacted] that Mr. [redacted] was funding. [redacted] proclaimed to be the one funding and running the...

project. The end result is that [redacted] continually added work onto the job and approved quoted pricing, made working conditions extremely tough by scheduling multiple contractors to work in the same areas at the same time, no electricity in the home to use, multiple rentals for generators which were never paid for, and then refused to pay for the work saying,"I will take care of you!"  I informed [redacted] at that time that I do not have a Master License for Ohio, however, am registered/licensed in multiple surrounding counties/areas and do work with multiple Master Plumbers if he so needed one.  [redacted] informed me that he had retained a Remodel Permit from the City of Cincinnati which covered all work in the home therefore I would not need to pull any permits. John explained that he wanted water all the stolen water lines replaced.  I quoted the job and then [redacted] added the waste drains and venting up to the first floor from stub outs in the basement floor.   After completing nearly 75% of the work asked of me I ended up leaving the project in mid-August for Non-Payment of Work completed. At this point I had only received payment for $1000 of the originally quoted $3600. With add-on's from [redacted] the job total rested at $4255.11. [redacted] refused to pay any contractor on the job any further compensation beyond the first payment until completion of the project.  At this point I understand there was a falling out between Mr. [redacted] and Mr. [redacted]. A week passed and I received a phone call from a Mr. [redacted] explaining that he was actually the guy funding the entire job and [redacted] was just a General Contractor. Mr. [redacted] said he was willing to pay me up to the work I had completed IF I would continue on the project and that "He would take care of me". So, reluctantly I agreed to continue after accepting the next payment. I was also informed by [redacted] that the Remodel Permit never existed and [redacted] went with me because my pricing was inexpensive compared to other quotes, however, at this time [redacted] would need to have a permit. I contacted multiple of my Master Plumber's and eventually helped resolve the permit issue that was created by [redacted].  I completed all work asked of me based on the original quote and the add-on work [redacted] demanded including having to move the installed water lines TWICE because of the inaccuracy of [redacted]'s floor plans.  The end result of this job is that [redacted] DENIED full payment for services rendered and still has an outstanding balance of $515.11. For any business, if you do not pay your bill you do not receive a full one year warranty on services rendered. Also, the 'hole' in the ground that [redacted] has issue with was relayed to me on December 3rd, 2014, which is well over a year after completion, via text message. In the picture (added to the attachments) you can clearly see a wall sitting directly on top of this pipe.   Had [redacted] paid the total bill after completion of the job he would have been granted a full warranty for one year. That warranty would have ran from August 2013 to August 2014. Since the work was completed and subsequently not paid for there are not any implied warranties. Also, the pipe in question is beneath a wall and therefore was not part of the original scope.
