Review: Took my son's VW Jetta for transmission work. Repair shop had car for 2 or 3 days. Replaced severla parts relating to the transmission and drive system.
Paid cash for the work and took it home. Next day OIL/Transmission fluid on driveway.
Did not get vehicle back down to the repair the next day or two.
Finally got it back to the shop and they said they fixed it (again!).
NO, still leaking Transmission fluid.
Finally took it to a VW/AUDI repair shop. They showed me the work that was preformed and everthing that was done was NOT done Correctly! Actually, there was a part missing according to the VW/AUDI technician.
Called AAMCO and told the owner but not much satisfaction. Said I could get credit if I brought another vehicle and get a discount!!!! Are you kidding me. NEVER would I recommend AAMCO.Desired Settlement: At least Half of what I paid as I had to drive this vehicle in a unsafe manner and it was time consuming running back and forth to this repair shop.
Now I have to pay More money to have the repair done CORRECTLY.
