Parking spaces are assigned to residents when they move in. Resident did not park in 1 er parking space, she sparked in another residents space, that resident called the tow company and signed to have car towed. We had nothing to do with it. There is no dispute, she was at fault. Instead of getting... the car right away, she waited several days so it cost more money. Resident was told at move in if car was towed, it would be between her and tow company. We will not pay the fee, we are not at fault. [redacted]

Tenant was served a 30 day notice to move. Tenant did not pay rent, was served a 3 day notice to pay or quit. Tenant called wanted to know if they left on a 3 day he receive deposit back? He stated he had someplace to go. He was told if apartment needed cleaning, painting would come out of deposit....

Also carpet cleaning. Didn't hear anything back, called him, to see if he was paying rent, he stated he didn't have the money. He was told it would be sent to attorney for eviction. He stated he couldn't worry about that now. It is now at the attorney. As far as work orders she put in 1 and it was done.Mulberry Estates [redacted]

Review: I just moved into apartments on 3/18/16 I parked my veichle in my parking space and they towed my car.Desired Settlement: To pay my towing fee and release my car.

Review: These apartments I have lived on twice the 1st time was with a different manager which went pretty well no complaints at all but the new manager I'm very unhappy with the way things are in these apartments. I just moved back in the apartments on October 3rd, I work 12 hours a day and by the time I come home the office is closed. But I have a rental due to my car being in the shop I come outside and a tow truck towing my rental-car I provided proof to the man and he told me he called [redacted](manager) and she authorized him to tow the car I went to [redacted]'s apartment and she says there's nothin she can really do and was very careless with the whole situation. I have told [redacted] several times that there's a car parking in my stall and I never have anywhere to park she has done nothing the car is still parking in my stall And to top it off I had to pay the tow just to unhook my rental and [redacted] could have helped when she didn't. There are a lot of things still wrong with my apartment they rushed the move in without fixing anything properly. There are illegal activities everywhere in the apartments, a lot of hanging out, police in and out of the apartments, loud music being played all hours of the night, and not a safe place to live with children. If possible I would like a full refund in the amount of $778.00 which I paid on the 3rd and I will use to find a more safe place to live me and my child. I will be sure to do a more better background check on the apartments.Desired Settlement: DesiredSettlementID: Refund

Initial Business Response

I received a call from tow driver stating he hooked up a car from apt **. He said he told him she talked to me, she then said she had talked to our housekeeping person and she told her it was ok. We would not have done that. Neither of us spoke to her. All she had to do was call I would have given a temp permit or I would have told the driver. She was screaming and cussing at the driver. She then came to my apartment yelling at me. I told her I had no control over the tow company and I can't do anything when they get towed. The signs are posted on the gate, PARKING BY PERMIT ONLY. Residents are told this when they move in, they are also told I have nothing to do with the towing and I can't get the vehicle released. She carried on so bad the tow company called the sheriff to come out. They told her the same thing. Pay the drop fee. This incident was recorded by the driver. She said she was taking us to court, driver hopes she does it's all on tape. If this girl would have told the truth and not acted the way she did he wouldn't have even hooked up the car.

As far as her unit she signed the move in check list and we did go fix a screen that was coming off and a couple minor things. I became the manager after she moved in here the first time, she complained about her apartment then. The complex is quiet, I do not allow loud music on the property and the complex is safe, better then it was when she lived her before. Have lots of children here haven't had any other complaints. If it was so bad why would you come back? If she feels that way put in a 30 day notice and move some where else. We are not refunding her money, we have done nothing wrong. All this is from her not telling the truth. The only reason she did this is because she was made because she had to pay.
