I am rejecting this response because: Then I suppose we can agree to disagree on the situationThis clearly is going to be a he said/she said situation, but I truly believe that business owners and people who serve the public with their services should stand by their product and support the customerI'm not asking for them to pay 100%, only 50% which is reasonableMulch masters response and defensive mannerism indicates to me that they are not confident in their productThey've lost our business and I know if I, as a consumer, were to read this I sure wouldn't take the chance of having termite infested mulch delivered to my houseTo each their own, and I feel sorry for the ownersAs a small time business in a small town, you'd think they would be more concerned and work with a loyal customer to see the issue through and resolve it to a customer satisfaction.

I am in receipt of your most recent letter dated 8/23/In response to *** ***s follow up I must disagree with her statement that "there is no evidence or proof we have a termite issue in our wall"The proof is the "sawdust" particles that her husband & I looked at together, that are an obvious sign of termite damage which we both acknowledged the day I visitedMy second and final comment is in regard to her comment that this has happened beforeWhat she neglects to mention is the fact that that mulch sat in a wooded area for approximately weeks before the customer started to spread it and yet when the customer called with their concerns we did the same thing that we have done for *** *** We replaced the mulch free of charge and paid for a application of insecticide, after which they were appreciative and continue to purchase our productI hope this will bring closure to what is an unfortunate situation Sincerely, *** ** *** *** Mulch Masters, LLC

I am rejecting this response because: there is no evidence or proof that we have a termite issue in our wall, and the fact of the matter is that we never had a termite issue until your mulch was deliveredMy husband and Mulch Masters considered it could be a possibility, however he also mentioned this has happened to him with his business once before while in business here in SimsburyMyself and everyone I've informed have agreed that he can count this as episode number twoAnd for the record, the mulch was not sitting in our driveway for one monthThat is absolutly incorrectI'm so glad this is a public forum and I can refer my contacts to view the story.

notified and have not respondedFor the record this letter is the first contact that we have received from the Revdex.comIn regard to the complaint from *** *** - our response is as follows: I do not dispute any of the information *** *** has providedThe mulch that we delivered sat in a pile in her driveway for nearly a month - which would allow a termite colony more than enough time to establish itselfMy research tells me a colony can form in as little as 2-daysBy the way - the area of the driveway where the customer asked us to place the mulch is surrounded by Railroad Ties that are decayed and heavily infested with termites which I had actually discussed with *** ***t the day I visited the site personallyWe feel that we have gone above & beyond in an effort to rectify a situation that in my opinion we are not likely responsible forTo quote Ms* ** *** *the source of the termites has not been proven", but she is blaming our product even though she had serious termite issues before her mulch was deliveredWe made good faith efforts to help her twice, at our expense, but she is still not satisfiedPerhaps if her termite issue was resolved before we were asked to deliver mulch, this whole situation would have been avoided Sincerely, *** *** *** Mulch Masters, LLC
