negative comments: 1) contractor does not make an effort to finish a job once started - starts or works other jobs before finishing the current one; also took forever to show up to finish a job that would have taken less than day to finishIn my case it took 3-months to return and my house was all torn up & unusable in the meantime2) stiffed the subcontractor who provided materials for over $12K - luckily that subcontractor said he wouldn't sue me for that money because, on my end, the bills were paid in fullThis is 1+ year later & MLK still has not paid them3) contractor's prices are 2-times higher than other contractors' prices for the same job
Initial Business Response /* (1000, 10, 2016/07/22) */
Returned every message left by customer. Customer decided to change the swing of a door as we were enclosing her three seasons room. I informed her that it was a special order door and I would have to charge her for the second door also, she...
agreed in front of 3 of my crew and myself. We completed the job and she paid in full including the new door. A month later I got a call from [redacted] informing me I owed her a refund for the door or she wanted the original door returned. I returned her original door Thursday July 21st at 6:33 pm.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (2000, 12, 2016/07/26) */
[redacted], I have received the door mentioned in my complaint. As always it was delivered one day after the deadline you had given the company.
I thank you for your prompt attention to my complaint, I was sure he would not refund any of the money (my request was not for the total cost of the door). I am ** yrs. old, and just thought that somewhere it should be noted, for anyone asking for their rating, my personal experience with them. The work was well done, but the communication skills were not good until I issued a deadline.......
Thank you once more
