Sorry to hear about this consumers situation but I am certain that she has mistakenly listed MultiPlan in the complaint. MultiPlan is a medical provider network and not an insurer and does not write policy’s. We are not a health plan nor a supplemental plan. We don’t issue insurance cards, policy...

numbers charge premiums, access bank accounts, credit cards or administer benefits. The phone number listed in the complaint is not ours and the supervisors names listed in the complaint is not our employee. Thank you....

Review: Looking for medical insurance online filled out several request's. Received phone call from a Multplan Limited Benefit representative. Wife was told it was Medical insurance, no co-pays. When started using after one month had difficulty finding local participants. Was told I was a [redacted] and couldn't find them either. After several phone calls and dealing with NASTY service people, they finally told us they were NOT insurance but a discount plan, though the cards say INSURANCE clearly on it. Was told it was not a plan for regular medical visit's and limited to only 2 visit's a year. Then tried to say they were a supplemental plan. When confronted with what I saw on the internet about and regarding complaints against the company they didn't take it seriously and suggested I go elsewhere and then SLAMMED THE PHONE UP ON ME. I then called back and cancelled the plan told it would b 5 days to be reimbursed on my bank card. This included prescription coverage as well. Out approx. $ 500.00 in office visit's now finding are not covered. No paperwork for policy was given and when sent to website no info on what was covered etc could be located.Desired Settlement: This company should be investigated and when finding they do not produce what they claim they should be charged for fraud. I feel ALL uncovered medical bills should be reimbursed as we were not told the truth about this so called insurance. 1 Month reimbursement of the 1st month's premium as well as for the scheduled office visit's beyond the 2 that were allowed.

Review: I signed up with this insurance at the end of August. Among all offers I received, this was the one that seemed to be reasonable and even though they charged my credit card right away, but they promised that I have 30 day to try and if I don't like it it will be refunded completely.

We only started to use it at the begining of November. According to them, we had 5 visits to network doctors for free and 3 lab tests with no charge. When my husband went for his first appointment, it became clear that we have to pay most of the doctor visit and any additional charges during the visit. No lab tests covered. All they promised was not true. The only thing they did, of course, charge the monthly premiums for September, October and November.

I tried to talk to their manager to get refund at least for November, but my arguments that their insurance doesn't work and they didn't keep their promises, didn't help.

I am very upset about this. I don't want other people to get in this trap.

If this will help me get at least some of my money back, I would be happy. By the way, we didn't use any of their services. (My husband left from the appointment without seeing the doctor)

Review: I have tried several times to discontinue my contract with their insurance agreement plan. Each time they have lost my fax, refused to complete the transaction over the phone or through their website and repeatedly have hung up on me, stated that I did not fill out the form correctly to unenroll when they do not even have a form to fill out, leading to them having an explanation why they can't remove me from their plan.Desired Settlement: First, I suggest that they lose their ability or license to contract with insurance companies. If not possible, they need to cover the my clients claim through United Healthcare as well as change their practices to allow for online or verbal contract removal.

They have solved my major concern of allowing me to discontinue my participation in their unique form of insurance contracting. I am disappointed in the length of time that it took to have the matter resolved. You can close the case.

Review: Our Contract w/ Multi-Plan termed on 2/**/15 however they are still holding us in contract w them and are still pricing claims as in network for [redacted] Company.... so that they can pay at a lesser rate..... They say we are contracted w/ a mega group call QHN Main... All attempts to locate this group have been exhausted by [redacted] and by Us... they do not exist and No one at Multi Plan will provide any valid information on this group... Which does not appear to exist. We have requested in writing to be removed from this group that does not exist and they have refused to do so... it is my belief they may have confused this group w/ FHN which is a workers compensation group and should have nothing to do w/ [redacted]... We are also not contracted with them either.Desired Settlement: We would like to be taken out of their Network completely and all of their affiliated networks. We are no longer participating with them or any of their networks and their continued efforts to keep us in contract is disturbing to our [redacted] patients and is creating problems for our patients as well.
