Regards,The company advertises a hour trip including 4-hours of fishing timeWe received two hours of fishing timeThe owner and captain are both being completely dishonest, and they are downplaying the problems with the boatThere were issues before we left the jettyWithin minutes of leaving the dockmy review complaint is honest, and deservedI stand by my previous statements, too add to my complaint I left a review on their Facebook, and the owner proceeded tincall me a liar there too, to which a respondedI understand that I will not be reimbursed the $250.00, but others should have the opportunity to be warned on how the owner treats customers when an issue does ariseHe was completely disrespectful over the phone, making personal comments about my charactertotally unprofessional

To whom this may concern,We left the dock with three perfectly working engines. We had an issue with the center engine as we pulled up on the first fishing spot. The captain fished on two engines. captain decided to stay in the area he originally planned to fish. The charter caught a full boat of Red Snappers and King Mackerel. The captain did leave the fishing ground a little early. The boat ran with the seas at its stern a little better than expected and the boat made port an hour or so earlier that the deadline. It is not uncommon for the boat to make it to port early. We try to make port at the scheduled time or slightly earlier to keep people travels plans on schedule. I spoke with charter about discount. I offered a discount that the charter did not accept. I then discounted the trip 1/3 of the cost of the trip. The charter later called out office and demanded a full refund. He was told that they were not authorized to grant his request. He then requested that they discount the trip 50%. I returned his call and discussed the situation. His story was different then the one I was told on the earlier phone call. He said there was an engine alarm while they were clearing the Jetties. He said this should have alerted the captain that the starter was going to fail. I told him the boat is not equipped with an alarm to tell the operator the starter might fail. I asked my captain is he had an alarm at that time. My captain said he had no alarm at that time. Upon hearing my captain's response Mr. [redacted] said maybe it was an alarming sound. The captain never denied the port engine having a hard time when trying to run against seas on two engines. I fully support the captain and how he handled this situation. We do NOT advertise or guarantee fishing time. Every trip is different. I feel I have been more that fair in this situation. Although I do not appreciate or agree with this untrue complaint by Mr. [redacted], I wish him the best of luck with the next charter boat company he chooses to use.    Thank you,Ned [redacted]Owner
