Mungo Homes of Alabama, Inc.

I have just recently bought a Mungo home on the Perserve on the Flint, New Market Al Thus far, It saddens me to say that we are very disappointed I will list just a few things:
Creaky Floors
Water Sprinkle not hooked up correctly
Air Condition issues multiple times
Drive way not being poured correctly
Sloppy work in/ on house
Multiple excuses from builder or no return calls
Flooring not properly installed
Promised that the community would have nature trail with a little bridge crossing to the Flint river I just spoke to another community member who stated that was promised over years ago by Pearson but was told that Mungo would complete it As my wife & I are not as young as we use to be, the reality of being able to utilize this trail safely its not possible Nature has over grown, no bridge and its not managed at all A true disappointment! I feel like Mungo sells you the all American dream but doesn't stay true to their word
I would encourage anyone that is interested in moving to the Perserve on the Flint to talk to neighbors of the community

My yard is being flooded by the run off from the new construction next door
Mungo built a house on a lot next door to my house The lot was built up about feet above my yard The end of the lot was sloped about degrees toward my front yard This has resulted in significant flooding of my front yard when it rains and when they run their water sprinklers to water the new sod laid on the yard The standing water was above my grass, running up to my front door and above the grass running on the side of my house If this continues, I expect foundation issues with mold and mildew in my crawl space and a breeding ground for mosquitos
Mungo failed to add any type of drainage between the lots to prevent the run off to my yard
I called the realtor handling the house at Buxahatchee I asked if the builder had been informed of the problem since I spoke with the realtor days previously I was told that the builder would be given my phone number but he was a very busy
