Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:MCSI has not, and I REPEAT has not offered to give a payment plan These violations were in a Chapter bankruptcy, I RECENTLY converted over to a Chapter 7, and all MCSI did was sent me a letter demanding $for these violations, I called to get on a payment plan, and I was told after the $is paid then a payment plan will be available The actual representatives are not being very helpful, they feel that I can get this money in a quick second, NO I cannot, I am NOT RICH I even reached out to the OWNER of the company via email, and have yet to get a response Maybe MCSI does not suspend my license, but they would put in the request to have my license suspended Sincerely, [redacted] ***

There was a typo in the name on the tickets, but otherwise the name, address and license plate number for these tickets match all other tickets Despite Ms[redacted] beliefs, these are valid tickets issued to her

It would appear that Ms [redacted] - [redacted] issue was with the validity of the violation being issuedMCSI is a collection agency and does not issue violationsEach municipality that sends a debt to collection verifies that it is a valid debt when doing soIf a debtor feels a violation was issued in error, that is a matter that needs to be resolved with the issuing municipality - MCSI does not have the authority to adjudicate the validity of a violationNor should it.Regardless, MCSI was contacted by the issuing municipality on January 20, and closed the account per the client

Mr*** is wrong in his characterization of the steps MCSI has taken to resolve this matterMCSI has verified the validity of the debt for the citation with the issuing municipality. We have offered Mr*** the opportunity to provide additional evidence and have even gone as far as to offer to help present said evidence to the municipality in order to help resolve the outstanding debtNo such evidence has been provided. Instead Mr*** has ignored that offer and levied accusations against MCSIHe is also wrong in his claim that MCSI has threatened to garnish his wages. No such threat has been madeMCSI has gone above and beyond what is required for debt validation and all information provided by the municipality indicates the debt is validIf Mr*** has some other evidence that contradicts all of the evidence provided, we would be happy to review it

Ms*** was sent notices by the issuing municipality, and an additional notices by MCSI, regarding the violations in questionIn addition to the original violation notices, separate notices were sent by the issuing municipality regarding her impending eligibility to have her vehicle booted and her drivers' license suspended. Mail return was not received in regards to these noticesMCSI and the issuing municipality can reasonably assume that at least some of these notices were successfully delivered to Ms*** over the past yearsDuring that time frame, Ms*** was offered several opportunities to set up payment arrangements on her debtsSince the end of her bankruptcy limited installment options have been made available to Ms***, she has refused to accept themThese options are still available to her, though the windows is closing as the deadline approaches

Mr*** does not have a valid complaint against MCSI. If his issue is with the validity of the citation issued it is with the issuing municipality, not MCSI. MCSI's clients all validate that all debts sent to them are true outstanding debtsMCSI took the time to validate with the
issuer, and they confirmed, that the citation in question was valid. Mr*** contends that he contested the violation, but has failed to provide any proof that the contested violation was voided or invalidated. Filing a protest with the issuing municipality does not guarantee that a citation will be closedIf such proof that the citation was in fact closed by the issuer is provided, we will happily work with the municipality to resolve the matter

Ms*** has three debts assigned to MCSI from the Village of ***of them are from 2004, but were not received at the MCSI offices until mid-2013, well after her settlement. Neither of these items has been reported to the credit bureau as they were too old to be reported by the time
they were received at MCSIThe third item is a violation from late 2014, assigned to our offices in and has been correctly reported to the credit bureau. All debts are valid

MCSI does not, and should not, have the ability to suspend anyone's driver's licenseMs*** license was suspended by a municipality for whom multiple debts are owed, and in which she is eligible for suspensionMs*** was notified several times, both by the originating municipalities and
MCSI, of each of the outstanding violations and related finesMs*** was provided numerous opportunities to pay these debts and to make payment arrangements for these debts prior to her current impending suspensionMs*** was also informed on her last phone call with MCSI, that she still had approximately 3-weeks to make payment to avoid suspensionMs*** has yet to make any payment towards her balance. In addition, all phone calls with Ms*** have been reviewed by managmentAt all times Ms*** was treated with dignity and respectAt no time were any representatives of MCSI rude to Ms***

I am rejecting this response because: First, I do not believe the two tickets added to my account are mines as the rep mentioned the name was incorrect. Second, the 2004 tickets should not have been added to a closed settled account. I do not question the 2014 ticket I will contact MCSI to make arrangements to pay the 2014 ticket. All debits before 2014 should be removed from my account.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:I've already thoroughly explained why MCSI is wrong for attempting to collect this debt.  MCSI continues to ignore the truth and call me a liar even though I have given them far more than enough factual evidence that I contested and appealed this ticket, despite the fact that the burden of proof is not on me.  MCSI must know that this is false and continues to pressure collection.
Sincerely,

I am rejecting this response because:MCSI has not, and I REPEAT has not offered to give a payment plan.  These violations were in a Chapter 13 bankruptcy, I RECENTLY converted over to a Chapter 7, and all MCSI did was sent me a letter demanding $1000 for these violations, I called to get on a payment plan, and I was told after the $1000 is paid then a payment plan will be available.  The actual representatives are not being very helpful, they feel that I can get this money in a quick second, NO I cannot, I am NOT RICH.  I even reached out to the OWNER of the company via email, and have yet to get a response.  Maybe MCSI does not suspend my license, but they would put in the request to have my license suspended.
