Dear Customer (P[redacted]) & Revdex.com

I
have received your complaint and request for a
refund, regarding
the performance of M[redacted] Plumbing.
At
the time of the first contact call, Mr M[redacted] did have Mr S[redacted] on
speaker, therefore his office manager and coordinator can listen in
and better understand and schedule appointment and take notes for Mr
M[redacted].
Mr
S[redacted] contacted M[redacted] Plumbing on a Tuesday inquiring about the
price on drain cleanings specifically 3x drains on his property. Mr
M[redacted] explained to Mr S[redacted] that we charge $120.00 each service of
drain cleaning, However Mr M[redacted] also explained to Mr S[redacted] that he
will give him a discount for three service drain cleanings for the
price of one, because it was his first time contacting M[redacted] Plumbing
and Mr M[redacted] wanted Mr S[redacted] to see the quality of our work and
performance and potentially gain a customer relationship with M[redacted]
Plumbing for future business. Mr S[redacted] accepted and scheduled an
appointment the following day which was Wednesday between 8:30 –
9:00 am for three drains to be cleaned out at the price of $120.00
The
following day of the appointment on Wednesday office manager Gloria
contacted Mr S[redacted] prior to his appointment to inform him of an
emergency that conflicted with his appointment, Mr S[redacted] agreed to
reschedule for the following day appointment for Thursday between
8:30 – 9:30 am.
M[redacted]
Plumbing sent out a technician to arrive at his property and clean
out three drains. The technician completed the work. Then Mr S[redacted]
requested additional work to repair a toilet valve. However that
service was not on the appointment description and the technician had
to arrive to his following scheduled appointment and informed Mr
S[redacted] that he had to contact the office for an appointment for that
service at a coordinated time given by the office. Mr S[redacted] was
upset and refused to pay the invoice for the completed work and asked
the technician to leave his property. Mr M[redacted] spoke with Mr S[redacted]
and informed Mr S[redacted] that he will waive the service fee of $120.00.
Mr S[redacted] received three free services for three drain cleanings.
We
charge $120.00 per drain service a total of $360.00 for the services
requested by Mr S[redacted]. Mr S[redacted] did not pay at all for any of the
services.
We
will not be refunding Mr S[redacted], Mr S[redacted] received full service of
three drain cleanings at no cost. Mr S[redacted] never mentioned any
additional work prior to his scheduled appointment. All of our
appointment are scheduled according to service with time duration per
appointment & customer. Mr S[redacted] is requesting M[redacted] Plumbing
to pay him $50.00 for his time, however he agreed to reschedule
appointment, M[redacted] Plumbing lost $360.00 in 2 hrs and Mr S[redacted]
received three free services. If you have further questions please
contact Office Manager G[redacted] or D[redacted].

Dear Mr S[redacted] and Revdex.com,
Yes, Indeed an
invoice was sent to you for your records, that is one form we
document all of the completed jobs we do. Therefore with your
indication that we sent you that invoice you are aware of the entire
work completed. My records indicate that, the invoice sent to you was
a full discount with a zero balance to you. If your records indicate
other wise, I will be more than happy to send you a copy for your
records. We invoice all of our customers its a form of documentation
for records and warranties and records for our books. It seems as
though your trying to collect more than what was provided to you. I
am sorry for your financial difficulties Mr Sangas, You have been
provided with free services, and I will not refund any money to you
that you did not pay. Now unless you can prove that you paid Munoz
Plumbing then I would appreciate if the Revdex.com can close out this
complaint as it has been justified on my end with my entire office
staff and our records.
Thank you

I am rejecting this response because:The invoice sent to me shows a balance due of $120.  If required I can scan my invoice for proof.   It is unethical that Mr. Munoz says he did not charge me when he sent me an invoice with a balance due of $120..    Please send me a updated invoice indicating a balance due of $0.0.

In the year 2013 in August, J[redacted] contacted Munoz Plumbing in regards to damaged cabinets,...

Mrs L[redacted] mentioned that reason why she was calling our office was due to the fact that her husband accidentally damaged a side of the cabinet and upon inspecting the entire cabinet she noticed another crack on a different side and she stated that she knew her husband did not cause that one but it could be a possibility, D[redacted] asked Mrs L[redacted] if she can stop to take a look, Mrs L[redacted] stated she could not because she was at work, Mrs L[redacted] denied appointment with D[redacted] and stated she can send pictures to D[redacted]s cell phone. Mrs L[redacted] did indeed sent pictures. D[redacted] then contacted Mrs L[redacted] and tried to reason with her in regards to cabinets and also recommended that she contact the manufacture to inquire about warranty policy. Mrs L[redacted] called several days later and stated that there was no warranty to cover the cabinets, she then asked for an appointment to have some fixtures installed by Munoz Plumbing on 12/14/13 Saturday, D[redacted] explained to Mrs L[redacted] that she will also be arriving at this appointment along with the Technicians to look at the damaged cabinets and take pictures and discuss the options that were available to her. This appointment was a no show. On February 18 2014 Mrs L[redacted] called to schedule another appointment this time she spoke with Cynthia the receptionist at the moment, she scheduled Mrs L[redacted] same day appointment for 218/2014 Tuesday, Mrs L[redacted] was a no show for the second time. By this time D[redacted] tried to contact and communicate with Mrs L[redacted] concerning this matter, D[redacted] also sent a letter to try to reach out to Mrs L[redacted] by mail, D[redacted] also text Mrs L[redacted]. M[redacted] Plumbing tried to communicate with Mrs L[redacted] but Mrs L[redacted] would not communicate with us or respond to us.
According to our concern, I am attaching the proof that we have, where we tried to reach out and communicate with Mrs L[redacted] with the attempt to reason with her. This is my proof please let me know if you can have Mrs L[redacted] show her proof where it shows that we did not try to reason with her and denied her any assistance according this matter.
Thank you,

Complaint: 10519910
I am rejecting this response because:
Regards,
J[redacted]
I dropped off pictures and paperwork related to this complaint.  Closet world is revamping their letter to add that I've  had cabinets with them for 10yrs in my garage with very heavy stuff and not once had to have them come out and fix anything.
If you noticed in the letter dated 3/14/2014 it states  that my husband broke the cabinets.  Really and how did I state that he broke it.  I said he damaged one of the shelves so I don't expect you to fix it, I also said some of the other shelves were damaged due to the heat from the vents and water damage that you did before the shelves were in. but that I only wanted you to pay for the crack after I noticed it.  The original request was for the very bottom to be fixed.she states I understand the disappointment you felt when you realized your cabinet had a crack in it yet more when my husband explained he did cause it.  Really I never said he caused the crack and I never once mentioned he damaged anything but the shelf he was taking out so it would be easier for your guys to take the unit down..
Would't the worker of noticed a crack if they're dismantling it, and make sure to mention it so they don't get blamed, I would think so and how would my husband crack it when all he did was take the shelves out.  their were no shelves that low second  of all I never asked for a replacement of the whole cabinets I asked for the siding to be replaced and the cabinet to be putt together. not once did they come out to look at the crack the letter proves it when she says she spoke to her worker.   she should of came out to see what the complaint was about.  The letter also states there was no communication in December and January please look at the phone logs I circled all the calls between us from 7-21-13 to 2-12-14.  In December I called them 5 times and she called me one time and it was a 20min call 12-26-13 because we were discussing the cabinet. It was during this conversation that we made an appt for her to come look at the cabinet on 12-30-14 as I was on vacation I remember very will because she said shed be there between 8:00am and 8:30am and R[redacted] would be with her.  I called at 9:45am and asked where was D[redacted] and the girl from her office said she was home sick.  I told her that her and R[redacted] were suppose to come to my house she said she didn't know anything about it.  She asked if I wanted to make an appt I said I'm going out of town ill call back and shell have to come when I come back and It will have to be a 5:00pm appt, she didn't want to have those 5:00 pm  appts because prior she said she commutes from Lompoc or Santa maria one of those places.  I wasn't happy that I didn't get a call and that she hadn't made an appt  it in their books that she was meeting with me. Now remember her letter says no luck in communicating with me look at my phone records. She was not being truthful I wont call her a Liar.
First shes saying I want to resolve it, in obtaining new cabinets but she wont replace the full ones, why would she replace any if her worker didnt do any damage.  Please look at closet worlds statement and my pictures and you'll see only someone taking it apart could have damaged, look at the pics from the very very bottom, and the spacing the shelves are doing because her worker didn't put those white things in correctly.  Also in the rebuttal from the Revdex.com D[redacted] said I contacted them in August 2013 for Damaged cabinets how could they of been damaged if they didn't do the plumbing work behind my cabinets until 8-24-13 , I first contacted them in  7-22-13, I called 6 times before they fixed it on the 24th, of course I couldn't leave work to meet her I told her I could meet her at 5, she said she couldn't because she leaves between 4 and 4:30 as she lives out of town. I was not about to use my sick or vacation to meet them on my work time, I could meet them after I get off which r[redacted] could of as he did after that for another estimate. If she says I denied her then she denied me because her and r[redacted] would not meet me at 5. Actually D[redacted] is the one who requested the picture and I told her Id have my daughter send it since I wasn't home, I was at work,  and my daughter was she so my daughter sent it. I called closet world before they dismantled the cabinets in August 2013 to find out and they told me that it wont be under warranty if someone else touches it and that's when R[redacted] guaranteed to me he has a guy that's really really good. I told him I hope so because they were really expensive.  December 14th is not correct about them all coming, my daughter was home and showed the 2 young guys the fixtures I did not need to be there for them to do the work, R[redacted] and D[redacted] did not show up because there was never a discussion for them to.  I called my daughter while I was out on errands which you can see as her phone is 451-3891 on the phone log to ask if the guys showed and fixed the cabinets.  she said no I had the wrong size fixtures and when she told them about fixing the cabinets they didn't know anything about it.  the guys did write down on paper what size and what kind of fixtures I have. they said I called 2-18-14 but my phone records don't show that unless I called from my work number.  I called them at 9:04am to find out why r[redacted] didn't tell them about  fixing the cabinets and the girl that answered the phone didnt know anything about it.  I called them on 2-7-14, 2-11-14, 2-12-14 see phone records to no avail they did not respond.  My contracter Raimond Calderon tried to reason with them and R[redacted] would not return his calls, also D[redacted]s kid was sick and in the hospital and I have those dates.  Obviously I tried to get them to come,  D[redacted] told me she didn't need to see it because her worker told her he didn't crack it. R[redacted] avoided my calls in feb when I left messages for him. If they were willing to fix it like they said why would we be where we are today.  R[redacted] said to my contracter they didn't do anything wrong go ahead and take me to small claims as I had told them I would if they didn't put it back the way it was before they took it down.please read both letters you'll see my statements are the same and the truth you'll see how theirs are so inconsistent and its because they're not telling the truth and when people fabricate it they forget what they say. Last but not least She mentions I noticed another crack that's insinuating there's two cracks I  find that very interesting and that I knew my husband did not crack it but could be a possibility  and the main reason I was calling was because my husband accidentally damaged a side of the cabinet I wonder which side that was, The 2nd letter kept getting better and better and I'm going to have closet world add if they saw one or two cracks, because believe me they inspected the whole thing to see what was needed to be put back together
Thank you for your time.

Extremely unprofessional. Spoke with Munoz Plumbing over 10 different times in one week to get an estimate for a larger list of jobs. They promised to call back at least 5 times and never received calls. Spoke to multiple people with the same "I'll call you right back etc". They played these games for a week until they eventually said "We are too busy to do the work right now". I would not recommend dealing with this type of business. It is very obvious they are disorganized and not someone to trust to fix your plumbing related problems. On multiple occasions they mistook me for a different client with different needs- very amateur to say the least. Santa Barbara has many other plumbing services that have longstanding history of positive reviews and dependable work such as Jerrys, Anacapa Plumbing, Carroll Plumbing, Lewis Plumbing.

Sr. Munoz did an adequate job of getting my drain running again and then told me there was a larger problem with the slope of the drain pipe for which he would gladly come back and fix for an additional $200. However, despite a guaranteed time window this morning, he didn't come at all.

Review: [redacted] completed a clean-out job for us in October of 2012 including having installed a clean-out in front of the house. He contractually agreed by giving us a receipt with written invoice and notes. On it, he promised a 1-year warranty on the job, charged extra for it, and said anytime there is problem just call and he will fix it. I believed him and trusted that he would fulfill the guarantee when needed but now have come to learn that M[redacted] over-promises and under-delivers. Now we are in September of 2013 and I called him to clean out the drain as it was backed up and the back-flow was releasing water. It was Sunday morning when I called M[redacted] who said we had to wait till Monday 10 am before it could be fixed. I reminded Raul we have tenants upstairs in the duplex and couldn't reasonably suspend all water activities for a 24-hr period. M[redacted] said warranty is good but not on the weekend due to having to pay overtime to his staff plumbers on call. M[redacted] then suggested calling another plumber for the repair and said he will not reimburse the cost. I wondered what his warranty was good for then? M[redacted] got upset and defensive, eventually hanging up as he couldn't answer my question in a reasonable way.Desired Settlement: $250 unfulfilled warranty refund.

Review: I scheduled an appointment for 9:00 AM with R[redacted] to clean out 3 drains and fix a toilet shut-off valve. I specifically asked him if he could fix the valve or was he just able to clean drains and he said no problem he could handle the valve. At 9:15 the day of my appointment I called his office because no service person had arrived and was told someone would arrive in 15 minutes. I waited until 9:45 and still no service person arrived at which time I called the office and re-scheduled for the next day. The next day a service person came and cleaned out the drains and told me he had to leave without fixing the valve. When I spoke to Raul he denied discussing the value and said I added that work on after the fact. However, in a note written on my invoice Raul says "I had you on my speaker phone" indicating that he really did not hear our conversation well. This is a terrible way to conduct a business. Munoz did not show up the first day and had to leave the second day before the repairs were completed. Both days I had to take time off work to be home for the repairs. When Munoz offered to come back a third time to fix the valve I declined because he clearly could not be trusted.Nobody should be treated like I was treated by Munoz Plumbing.Desired Settlement: I expect a partial refund of $50 for the extra time I missed from work plus the time I'm going to miss when I get another plumber do what Munoz did not. If Munoz would have showed up to my house the first day and done the job correctly none of this would have happened.

Had an issue with my washer backing up into my bathtub. A couple guys from Munoz came over, but since the house has quirky plumbing they promised they would come back later in the day with their boss to figure out exactly what to do. The prognosis wasn't that great, but they managed to fix the problem before the end of the day AND (I noticed later on) they even cleaned out the residue in my bath tub before leaving. I thought that was a thoughtful touch.

He assured me that he had someone that was very good at putting them back together, I trusted Raul, after the cabinets were put in I noticed that the bottom of the cabinets were not put in correctly and when Mr. R[redacted] came to my home to give me an estimate on some work I pointed it out to him and he assured me that when his workers come to do the work, he would have them fix it. When they came to do some work, they had told my daughter they didn't know anything about it. I immediately called the office and the office person said she'd give the information to the manager. I had also noticed a couple of months later that there was a crack in the very bottom of the siding on the left side of my cabinet. I only noticed it because I was on my hand and knees wiping the bottom shelf. Also I noticed that the screws in the cabinets were coming loose and Denise the manager was suppose to come to my house and did a no show and never even called me to cancel and I was waiting around for her to show, I was on vacation. She refused to come to my home to look at the cabinet that her employees did not put back together right and to look at the damaged cabinet, Closet world came out and verified it was due to someone putting the cabinet back wrong and they cracked it. Ive had cabinets at least 10yrs or longer in my garage and have had heaver stuff in them and I've never had cracked cabinets in my garage. They refuse to come out and look at it. Also Denise sent letter saying I said my husband cracked the cabinet Never said that. Raul ignored my calls, Denise was rude and unprofessional. What kind of business would not come and look at an expensive cabinet that their employee took down and Raul said he would have them fix itDesired Settlement: Closed World came out to give a Estimate to put it back to together. Exception of the shelves It was between $800 and $900. So I would want them to Pay Closet World to fix it. My cabinets are falling apart the screws are coming out, it was not put back together properly as I showed R[redacted] and he agreed in time it's been falling apart and my shelves keep falling due to the cabinets coming apart. Since they refused to come and look they cant say, it's worsened over time.

Response:

In the year 2013 in August, J[redacted] contacted Munoz Plumbing in regards to damaged cabinets, Mrs L[redacted] mentioned that reason why she was calling our office was due to the fact that her husband accidentally damaged a side of the cabinet and upon inspecting the entire cabinet she noticed another crack on a different side and she stated that she knew her husband did not cause that one but it could be a possibility, D[redacted] asked Mrs L[redacted] if she can stop to take a look, Mrs L[redacted] stated she could not because she was at work, Mrs L[redacted] denied appointment with D[redacted] and stated she can send pictures to D[redacted]s cell phone. M[redacted] Plumbing tried to communicate with Mrs L[redacted] but Mrs L[redacted] would not communicate with us or respond to us.According to our concern, I am attaching the proof that we have, where we tried to reach out and communicate with Mrs L[redacted] with the attempt to reason with her. This is my proof please let me know if you can have Mrs L[redacted] show her proof where it shows that we did not try to reason with her and denied her any assistance according this matter.Thank you,Munoz PlumbingR[redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:

Regards,

J[redacted]

I dropped off pictures and paperwork related to this complaint. Closet world is revamping their letter to add that I've had cabinets with them for 10yrs in my garage with very heavy stuff and not once had to have them come out and fix anything.

Good and honest company always gets the job done right.
