I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Regards, [redacted] I am not sure why my complaint would be denied I contacted with company to do work and he did not perform it in a reasonable time I gave him a $down payment and he refuses to refund my money He states he purchased materials for the project but does not have receipts to prove that I paid him by check and have emails that he agrees to a fair settlement I obtained his name from the website HomeAdvisor which I have contacted and they state I have a case against him It has been almost two months and I still don't have shelves or my money You are the Revdex.com and this business has done wrong I will follow up with the emails we sent to each other about this work and that he agreed to refund my moneyThey are individual emails and not in chronological order I can get the cancelled check if you need that alsoTo me it's an opened and closed case
The business provided a verbal response: The consumer is threatening to sue me, therefore all offers are off the table now

The customer has filed complaints with multiple sources requesting more than what we agreed upon and has threatened to sue I agreed to forgo charging the customer for the time I spent building his shelves before he cancelled the project at which point I was left with wasted time spent working for him and materials that were useless for any other purpose. I feel that he is not due $600 or $400 and at this point I would only consider giving him back $200. And it has not been 2 months since we last spoke I spoke to him in January. The customer appears to be trying to take advantage of me and my business.

have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. Regards, [redacted]I am not sure why my complaint would be denied. I contacted with company to do work and he did not perform it in a reasonable time. I gave him a $600.00 down payment and he refuses to refund my money. He states he purchased materials for the project but does not have receipts to prove that. I paid him by check and have emails that he agrees to a fair settlement. I obtained his name from the website Home. Advisor which I have contacted and they state I have a case against him. It has been almost two months and I still don't have shelves or my money. You are the Revdex.com and this business has done wrong. I will follow up with the emails we sent to each other about this work and that he agreed to refund my money. They are individual emails and not in chronological order. I can get the cancelled check if you need that also. To me it's an opened and closed case.
The customer has not waited 2 months and I was trying to be generous with refunding any money. After I had purchased the materials and started the work he cancelled the job. I no longer feel obligated to refund his deposit due to my material expenses and time spent working in his bookshelves.
