Murphy Bed Concepts Inc

Review: On February 5, 2015, I paid Invoice 1530 in the amount of $1,780 (half of the total amount due) through Pay Pal to MurphyBed Concepts to confirm my order for a murphy desk-bed. I paid Invoice 1544 covering the balance, $1,780, through PayPal on April 10, once the order was ready to be shipped completing the total payment of $3,560. The order was delivered - and rejected -- on May 4, 2015. I rejected the delivery because the item was supposed to be delivered packaged on a pallet to ensure that all pieces were there and intact, but, instead, the pallet had been unloaded and there were approximately 15 different boxes, including a box with hardware, which was open upon delivery. Since there was no paperwork to indicate how many pieces were supposed to be included in the shipment or if all of the hardware arrived intact, I had no way of knowing if I was receiving the entire order. Also, some of the boxes were damaged, which allowed me to see that the furniture had been scratched AND that it was the wrong color (I ordered medium gray, but received grayish white). Before rejecting the order, I tried to contact the company, but could not reach anyone. I therefore sent an email the same day explaining that Id rejected the order and requesting that they contact me immediately. On May 5, I received an email from Ms. [redacted] of MurphyBed Concepts, who took my original order, confirming that the company understood I had returned the merchandise, and stating that they would file an insurance claim since the item was supposed to have been delivered on a pallet. On May 19, I received an email from Ms. [redacted] saying a claim had been filed and the dispute should be settled shortly. I have sent multiple emails and left multiple phone messages since May 19 (all calls go directly to voicemail), but have received no response by phone, email or letter, nor have I received a refund. I did not receive the merchandise and am owed $3,560. The company is unresponsive.Desired Settlement: Full refund in the amount of $3,560 through PayPal.
