I hired this company to treat my palm trees and fertilize them, I was told there wouldn't be any problem there was seven trees. I was told they would put the chemical on the top of trees, but I saw them put it on only two trees in the back yard. I called and Mike came out twice to look at the trees and he told me I would have to wait for new growth. It's been two months and the trees look dead. I feel I paid $840.00 to get the palm trees trimmed. It says on the proposal satisfaction guaranteed, I AM NOT SATISFIED.
I have read this complaint and will bring it to the attention of Mr. as soon as he returns from out of town in about a week (He is burying his Brother in NY).
I would like to reopen my complaint because there wasn't anything resolved on the original complaint. I don't know it was resolved. I never accepted the original response, because I didn't think it was fair for the amount I paid. If the trees have to cut down I want them hauled away and stumps ground down. I am handicapped and can't do that, I still feel like I paid $840.00 and all I got was trees trimmed, and fertilized.
I am the owner of this company and am dealing with this customer honestly on every visit to see the trees. I have told him that he'll probably lose the sick trees. He insisted for us to continue the treatment which we did as he asked.
In order to settle this complaint, I am willing to cut down the dead/sick tree(s) at no cost to customer.
I never asked for the treatment to be redone. I asked several times will the trees be ok and he said yes and on his invoice it states ( satisfaction guaranteed ) I was charged $840.00 for no help that I can see. therefore I feel I was ripped off. His offer to cut the trees down and leave it up to me for removal and stump removal is totally impossable for me because I am handicapped.
The job was explained to the customer entirely as to the current condition of his trees by Mr *** as a free estimate. He discussed with the customer that he may lose a tree due to his daily maintenance which was not done regularly. Mr *** was truthful but the customer still wanted him to fertilize and fungicide treatments done anyway. We did that and the surprise of the customer after 2 months was amazement. Not sure why, because he already knew the answer. He paid us for the work done and materials used plus time and travel from our home base in Glendale. Remember that Mr *** came by on 3 occasions explaining again the tree's issues which seems to have been a waste of time and travel because it still didn't sink into the customers logical brain cells. We have offered to cut down the tree in question and we will not charge him to do so. We will even refund $80.00 which is the cost of the tree that was fertilized which is the tree he is complaining about. This makes a total of 5 trips to the customers residence in order to please him. I think this is going beyond the level of expectation and final satisfaction.

I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved. I will accept the refund, but he doesn't need to cut down the trees. I will have someone else cut them down and remove the stumps. I will hire someone who is honest

My husband got rid of a huge tree in our front yard when the root system became so destructive. But then we were stuck with a huge stump......Murphy's showed up when he said he would for the free estimate, he had the crew there the next day! Everyone is very friendly and knowledgeable and were easy to work with! We thoroughly appreciated the service and would highly recommend this company any time!!!
