Advertised top grain leather lift chair, I drove 21/hrs to buy, it was bonded leather and delaminating on seat Tried to sell me higher $ chair
Advertised as one year old leather lift chair I called and asked if it was bonded leather He said no, that it was top grain leather He gave me the cover number and I called the manufacturer to confirm that it was top grain leather They said yes, but after I drove 21/hours to buy it, I discovered that it was indeed bonded leather and that it was delaminating on the seat (as only bonded leather does) The representative that showed me the chair when I arrived said it was bonded leather and we confirmed that by looking at the tag under the chair They showed no remorse for the misrepresentation, but simply attempted to sell me what they claimed was a top grain leather chair at a much higher price This is an illegal business practice known as, "bait and switch" as well as advertising
