I am writing this letter to inform you that *** *** is our customer for over years and we value all our customersShe received the laundry service by pound on 2/**/Our delivery person pick-upped her bag of laundry from the doorman of her building and brought it to the StoreWhen the
laundry bag arrived the weight was 20lbThe same 20lb of clean laundry was delivered to the client on the same day in the afternoon, and left by the doorman of her buildingEight days later on *** of February I got a phone call from *** complaining that she was missing shirtsI explained to her that there is a policy in the Company for laundering service by pound differences in count must be reported with ticket presented within hours, not days laterIn addition, there is no physical proof of missing shirts being in the laundry bagShe was continuously calling that morning, even though I promise her that we are going to look for her shirts that she claimed were missingWe checked entire store and were not able to find her shirtsSince we were not able to find her missing shirts and there was no proof that those shirts were inside her laundry bag our company can not refund any money back to the client for the shirts she claimed to be missing

Review: I dropped off laundry with the company. When I received the laundry back, I was missing two shirts. When I called the company to see where the shirts were, they said they would check to see if they could find it and call me back. I never received a call back and then followed back 4 days later. When I called back, I was yelled at by an employee and told this was my fault. The employee then hung up on me. I then called back and asked for a refund on the laundry, the same employee picked up, said no, and hung up on me. I called back a third time and the woman yelled at me again. When I called a fourth time later in the day, requesting a refund (of $18.70), someone else picked up and said they would call me back. It's no surprise, I never received a call back. The two shirts I'm missing total to $50 and the company refuses to acknowledge they lost my shirts and refuse to provide me with a refund.Desired Settlement: I would like a $50 refund from the company or a $50 check to cover the cost of the missing shirts.
