I am rejecting this response because: The account of our dealings by Murray and Holt's sales team are simply not trueI again will repeat the fact that we were told that they where going to be paying off our trade in on or about the 9th of Augand their was no instruction or even mention of us closing out our auto pay on the Forte that we traded inand we did not feel we would need to do that with the info we were given about the pay off date of on or about the 9th of Augand our payment date being do a week laterAnd as to the remarks about our personal finances, I admit we have one week in our month when the checking gets down to about balance but having to make a unexpected car payment did leave us rather short, I managed to move funds from other accounts around and cover my bills and avoid any bank charges not that I would ask Murray and Holt for one stinking dime after the way they have treated usIf you think about it, who goes in trades in their car and says to the dealership "go ahead and sell my car and I will keep making the payments on it for you"Just think about this for a minute, this is basically what Murray and Holt is claiming my wife and I did! We have been buying and selling cars for years and we know how the deals work and this has been the slickest group of, well I will be nice and just call them story tellers that we have ever dealt withThey did finally make a payoff after the loan had accrued an extra $of interest that came out of the extra payment that we had to make to insure we would not get a late payment attached to our credit historySo again we have more reason to be dissatisfied with the service and certainly the manager at Murray and HoltI only had to raise my voice with you MrBarker after you tried to blame my wife for the fact that your people didn't do their job and this was something that you yourself finally admitted! Wow what a businessman you are...

They (customers) actually did the contract on August 8th and not August 7th The bank was closed on the 7th We got a day payoff and their auto pay came out days later and with any of the banks we cannot cancel automatic payment within hoursSo the bank pulls the money
automatically out The gentleman let me know that after their payment comes out that they live on roughly $for 7-days so they're very strapped for money My sheet that all my sales guys go over, I pulled the deal stating that the customer knew that we did get a payoff for that time frame So we did do that I did talk to Greg after the fact and let him know he was yelling at all of my staff about this I am one of the owners I did go over it with him to calm him down I said that if there were overdraft fees that I would pay them as long as he could bring in the banking information stating that there were two charges for $I would gladly pay those But it is not in our requirements to make sure that the people who trade the vehicles in are financially stable for the time But when we go over all that information stating that their payment is coming out automatically that they set up which we cannot cancel their automatic payment out of their bank as the banking institutions will not allow a 3rd party to cancel their payment That's all brought up in the deal He understood that but was very, very adamant that we needed to pay him back for that stuff So I don't really know what else I could do or could have done They signed all the forms He wanted us to pay it off that exact day which no bank does, no dealer does That's why there are 10-day payoffs from the banking institution that they choose to deal with I have contacted him and he has not brought in any of his overdraft fees if there was any at all There was not nothing done We did pay it off between the to day payoff like we do every other vehicle So there is no ding on his credit at all
