I ordered a college textbook from Murray Media (through Amazon) along with a couple other books from AmazonThey were all supposedly shipped the next dayI received the two books from Amazon days later & waited for the other oneTwo weeks later, I e-mailed (the only way to contact them,BTW) Murray Media to find out where my order was & asked if I needed to order it from another source since my child was starting classesThey blamed the postal service for being slow & assured me that it was on the wayA couple days later, I told them that if they couldn't get the book to me by the last date of the guaranteed shipping window (which was a two week span, starting a week after it was supposedly shipped), that I wanted a full refundThen I got another e-mail asking if they could ship another book to me, but she couldn't guarantee it would arrive by that shipping dateAgain, I asked for a full refund, & let them know that I was not pleased & that they just lost a potential customer of college textbooks for the next yearsThen, they sent me another e-mail asking me to not give them a negative review...REALLY?!?! That's a special kind of stupid!!!

Just like another review here, I ordered a book from Murray Media through Abebooks.comI paid extra for faster shippingWhen the book never came (delivery date July 25th), I sent an email (on the 25th) trying to find out what happenedSomeone named [redacted] responded (July 26th) from Murray Media "Sorry for the slow mail.This order is on the way to youPlease allow more time for this orderto arrive Please keep in mind that we guarantee delivery Thank you for your patience" Two days went by (July 28th) and I emailed back to remind them I paid extra for faster shippingThe response I received (same day) was "I am sorry to report that your order was returned to us in the mailThe post office can have many reasons for this - but we have examined the package and was found very damage and in an un-saleable conditionHowever while checking with the shipping department I have another copy but it's not Brand New, it is just in Very good condition WITH SOME WEAR, please let me know if you still want this copy to be sent or prefer a full refund on this order"I responded (same day the 28th) that I wanted a refundThe same person (***) responded back (the 28th) "Amount refunded = $ This refund has been updatedYou can see it in your accountI hope you feel I did my best to help you and will not post any negative feedback for us.Please let me know if I can help in any way.Thank you very much! On August 8th, I emailed back stating I never received my credit for the bookThe next day (August 9th), the same person, [redacted] responded "A full refund of $was submitted on date 07/29/16.May take a couple of days, no more than 30, depending the bank." Knowing this was B.SI gave them a chance to do right and refund the money Yesterday (August 29th), days has passed and I sent one last email to the same email address I have sent previous emails stating I still have not received the credit and did not get a responseI just had to fill out a dispute with my credit card in order to try and get my money backI have been more than patient with this company and can only draw one conclusion that they are modern day thieves Do yourselves a favor and do not do business with Murray Media

I went to Kaiser for a yearly physical The doctor coded it as Kidney disease, which I do not have and they billed me for the visit I disputed the charge, being that I went to the doctor for a yearly physical, which by law is a covered service I took Kaiser months to fix the billing issue I made payments to the bill for other services I made multiple phone calls in between regarding the dispute In July I was told the dispute was taken care of and I only had a physician bill for $and a professional bill for $30.10, which I paid over the phone I was told I owed nothing else I just found out year later that I was sent to collections by Kaiser and owe $ I called Kaiser, they will not help me because they sent me to collections, which they never notified me of They said they don't notify when sending to collections and it is now out of their hands So, long story short, while I was disputing a bill, they sent me to collections for other items and once resolve

On August 8th, I emailed back stating I never received my credit for the book. Yesterday (August 29th), 30 days has passed and I sent one last email to the same email address I have sent previous emails stating I still have not received the credit and did not get a response. I just had to fill out a dispute with my credit card in order to try and get my money back. I have been more than patient with this company and can only draw one conclusion that they are modern day thieves.
Do yourselves a favor and do not do business with Murray Media.
