to enjoy their dining experience at Musashi, so your daughter’s report of a disturbing experience with our service staff is a serious concern for us. First, let us express our deepest apologies. We have questioned our staff and have taken appropriate measures and actions to address the issues concerning customer service. We assure our customers that certain inappropriate actions taken by service staff towards customers are unacceptable and since this incident, the mentioned staff member has been terminated from her position. Despite our intentions of providing all of our customers with prompt and timely service, sometimes large groups of customers come and dine in simultaneously. Unfortunately, the night of your daughter and her friends visited happened to be a night when large groups of customers decided to come dine in on the same night resulting in a wait time. As a result all parties were subject to a wait time of an hour, to an hour and a half wait time. Just as all businesses, unforeseen events and circumstances, (such as the night of your daughters visit), do occasionally happen to our business from time to time and we do assure our guests that the cause of the wait time is unintentional Coincidentally, on the same night, we were experiencing plumbing issues in the restrooms that was unintentionally caused by a disruption in the flow of the “main pipeline” belonging to the McKinley Village (Save Mart Shopping Center) which is regularly serviced and maintained by Save Mart Realty Offices. As soon as the problem was detected, Save Mart Realty was notified and a plumber was sent to remedy the situation and the plumbing issue was resolved. We assure you that this was a technical issue and was unintentional on our behalf. To avoid the noted problems in the future, we are conducting special training of our staff and are allowing more time between our reservation groups to prevent wait times. Finally, as a token of our apology and our appreciation of your business, we would like to compensate your dinner amount of $32.23 in the form of a gift certificate. Review: The front restaurant window says in big painted on letters "FREE BIRTHDAY DINNER"The sign inside at the front desk says,"Free dinner on your birthday with party of 4 or more, show ID to the server" When I walked in I said, "Hi we have a party of 7, we have twins and it's their birthday today." The owner said, "Okay, just tell the server it's their birthday and show them ID's"We sat down and told the server, "They are twins it's their birthday." She replied, "Okay great, Happy birthday girls" The Cook and the first server were great. (they switched servers on us in the middle of the meal)The meals on the menu cost anywhere from $20 to over $30. The birthday girls meals were $22 each. The new server brought the check and said, "Here is your check (it was over $200), this $18 dollars here is your birthday discount." I asked, "Wait, what about the free birthday dinner you advertise?" The server said,"Yeah, sorry about that, we've been giving just an $18 discount for a while now." I said, "But it's only for one of them?" He replied with, "Yeahhhh well. That's what we do now, sorry."I asked the owner, "You advertise free dinner on your birthday, we explained to you it was both their birthday, we explained to the server and the cook like you told us to do. Nowhere in this place does it say an $18 DISCOUNT, nor does it say 1 Free dinner with each party. None of you told us this when we told you about their birthday."The owner just kept repeating: "Yah Yah it written there, and everyone know this, we been here 20 year, everyone know." She wouldn't say anything else but that over and over. It's not written anywhere like she says. They are advertising something false. They are giving a birthday discount instead of a free birthday dinner like they advertise in two separate places, one on the window and another on a sign at the front desk. This place was dirty and my daughter developed a rash shortly after leaving.Desired Settlement: We want to have our bill adjusted with a partial refund to reflect the service they actually advertise. We would then like to see them change all of their public advertising to state that they actually give a birthday discount not a free dinner like what is publicly posted.They owe us $26.00 back.

Review: My daughter and her friends went to Musashi for a friend's sweet sixteen. Before I left, I paid for my daughter's meal and gave her the receipt as evidence. When it came time for food, my daughter said I ordered one thing-which I did-and the receipt showed another. When asked if she could pay the difference, the "manager" ([redacted]) said no and from there, her and another server ([redacted]) gave the group of girls trouble. My daughter informed me that [redacted] kept walking away when they tried to address her and [redacted] kept cutting them with her eyes. Before leaving , the girls went to the bathroom and it was flooded and sticky floors throughout the restaurant! Another customer complained to [redacted] regarding the bathroom floors and [redacted] told that customer that she was not the manager. The girls spoke to the manager, [redacted], before leaving and when my daughter got to the car, she told me what when on. I got out the car to speak to the manager about what happen, and when I asked for a manager, the server ignored my request and cut her eyes at me as well. A bus boy overheard my request and retrieve [redacted]. [redacted] explained to me it was crazy in the resturant and his staff was overwhelm. In front of [redacted], I asked the server for her name, and she refused. I told her as long as she is an employee, I have the right to know her name, and she then told me [redacted]. I asked for [redacted]'s boss name and number, and he wrote down [redacted]. I called [redacted] and she informed me that she did not have time for me. I went to the resturant again and she informed me she was not in charge and she don't know why I was given her name. I asked [redacted] for his boss' name again and he did not answer. Once I explained to [redacted] a complain will be filed to Revdex.com, she wanted to speak at the moment and I left. I have pictures of the flooded bathroom floor, and I can honestly say I will not conduct business with this restaurant again. Please contact me if needed.Desired Settlement: Because of the unfair treatment, not only do I request a refund, but I ask Revdex.com to enforce that the resturant put up the names and contact information of those in charge. I also ask Revdex.com to enforce that the resturant employees wear name tags.
