Attached is a copy of Mr. [redacted]'s proposal/contract for his move. He was given a copy prior to the move as well as after the move was complete. As it shows, he initialed next to the optional coverage "$.60 per pound per article/ No charge" Meaning he denied additional coverage for his...

move.  So his claim that he was not given a contract of the services before they were performed is inaccurate. His other claim that we did not provide him with "Your rights and responsibilities when you move in Texas" is also inaccurate as he received a move confirmation on August 15th, 2017 at 2:51 pm with a link at the bottom of the email taking him directly to the page on the TXDMV website. We include this information on every confirmation, whether the customers take the time to read it is left up to them.  We spent a few weeks communicating to Mr. [redacted] about this item and even offered him a settlement of far over $.60 per pound which we felt was fair considering the documentation and he seemed to get insulted by the offer.  It wasn't until after we offered him this settlement that we spoke with the mover in charge and he mentioned that Mr. [redacted] had told him [redacted] had previously damaged some of his items on a move months before. The movers also informed me that the TV was previously wrapped in a blanket before we arrived on site and was not unwrapped until after the move was completed therefore we never saw the condition of the TV. Just to investigate further, we contacted [redacted] and they confirmed that Mr. [redacted] did in fact make a claim with them for a broken TV after his move with them which they declined. The next day we contacted them again to see if they could send over documentation of this claim so we could use it in our defense but they were no longer willing to talk about this claim with us. My guess is that the manager got word of this issue and instructed it not be shared with us as I'm sure they were wanting to protect themselves from slander from Mr. [redacted]. I brought this to his attention and he denied ever making a claim with them. Despite these issues, we're still willing to honor the $.60 per pound. We think this is more than fair.    I've managed to maintain a flawless reputation for my company that I started in 2002 and I aim to do so for the future.    Please let me know if you have any questions for me or what the next steps are for us as we've never had a complaint on the Revdex.com   Always appreciated, [redacted]  Office Manager  Muscle Man Moving & Piano Experts, LLC. Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:In their response to the complaint, MuscleMan Moving continues to dishonestly misrepresent the facts, in particular:1.  The so-called "proposal/contract" that was sent to Revdex.com by MuscleMan in their response was neither presented to me nor signed prior to the move.  This was in fact given to me to sign late in the afternoon, after most of my things had already been moved, by the second pair of movers who showed up to finish the job when the first pair failed to return to pick up the items remaining at my storage unit.  As an aside, this would never have been necessary if MuscleMan had provided a large enough truck for the move, as they had promised me they would two days earlier when I called them to inquire about the vehicle size.2.  The assertion that I filed a claim with [redacted] in a previous move is nothing more than a bald-faced lie.  [redacted] never has damaged any of my items in a move, and there was no such claim of any kind, ever.  If MuscleMan wants to continue to state that this occurred, then they need to provide some evidence.  However there is no evidence for this purely fabricated assertion, and repeating it won't change that.3.  As I stated previously, the TV wasn't "wrapped" prior to the move, it simply had a light bedspread draped over it - not attached in any way - to keep off the dust and bugs, as anyone might do with an expensive TV set kept temporarily in a storage unit.  If it was "already wrapped," then why did MuscleMan wrap it themselves prior to moving it?  Again, repeating a lie doesn't somehow make it true.4.  Contrary to their statement, MuscleMan has never offered me a "settlement of far over $.60 per pound" and in fact they haven't offered me any settlement of any kind whatsoever.  Instead they have asserted that they didn't damage the TV, and have stopped responding to my attempts to communicate with them about it.5.  "Providing" a legally required form to a customer means to deliver that document to them directly.  The idea that including a link in an email message qualifies as presenting required documentation to a customer is ludicrous.  Not only does this assume that the reader of the email notices that there is such a link, also links in email messages are well known to present major security risks, and many people including myself make a policy of not clicking them.Regards,
[redacted] [redacted]
