Review: I hereby originate a formal complaint against Muscle Man Movers for failure to complete their contractual liability (verbal not written) to secure and deliver the total number of boxes that were originally removed from my prior residence.

The initial move took place on August 20th, whereby the proprietor and 10 employees moved approximately 156 boxes into two storage units I secured at [redacted], located in [redacted], CT. On September 11, the movers removed the aforementioned boxes from my storage units and delivered them to my current residence.

Upon further inspection, the inventory delivered was missing several boxes that have yet been located. Upon contact with the owner, Mr. Michael H[redacted], my claim was quickly dismissed and I was accused of trying to scam the owner into lodging a baseless complaint with negligible merit. Evidence of said stated allocations can be provided upon request.

The following is the baseline of my complaint:

• Owner failed to provide written contractual agreement

• Owner failed to maintain minimum liability coverage as set-forth by the provisions governed by the Surface Transportation Board

In addition to the dates mentioned up, the movers made an additional visit to the storage unit, on August 21st, to locate a misappropriated item that was erroneously included in the transition. I believe that this may have been an additional window where my missing boxes could have been removed.

I am missing the following items:

• A garment box that contained winter apparel

• 4 Outercoats that were also in the garment box

• A set of cooking pots, kitchen utensils and cutlery

My altruistic intention is to retrieve my lost items and I am in no way seeking retribution under false pretenses. The proprietor has offered no assistance or recourse to this matter and has not been receptive to any form of communication.

As a senior level professional with over 20 years experience in management and customer service, it is extremely disappointing to enter a business relationship that cannot be resolved between the two parties. However, being raised by a father who served as a [redacted] police sergeant officer for over 25 years, it is viscerally important for me to pursue what I believe is right in order to ensure others are protected in similar situations.
