I purchased a 2005 Cadillac CTS-V from this dealer August 8, 2015. At the time of sale and per the purchase agreement the dealer agreed to replace the clutch. I received documentation showing this repair was to be performed at the dealers expense. When I dropped off the car to have the clutch replaced the dealer contact told me that [redacted] in Reno, NV would be completing the work. They took two and half weeks to complete the repair and [redacted] did not do the work. Upon delivery of the vehicle, the car vibrated badly, made odd noises, and had trouble going into gear. I reported the new problems to the dealer who told me to bring the car back in to be looked at. They evaluated the car for 2 days, and reported that the problems I identified were normal. I disagreed and dropped the car off at [redacted] to be further evaluated, who then based on the problem they found referred me to Drive Line Services in Sparks to have the drive shaft replaced. Based on the evolution of the drive shaft an independent mechanic determined that they drive shaft was not tightened down correctly when it was reinstalled in the car after the clutch repair. I asked Muscle Motors to pay for the new driveshaft which they refused. I paid $780 to replace the drive shaft in the car.Product_Or_Service: Used CarDesired SettlementI would like to be reimbursed for the $780 to replace the drive shaft.Business Response To whom it may concern:[redacted] did indeed purchase a vehicle from Muscle Motors AUto Sales, when purchased he was informed the vehicle was sold as is. [redacted] asked Muscle Motors Auto Sales to service the clutch to make the vehicle more friendly to drive, Muscle Motors Auto Sales performed that task and [redacted] pick up the vehicle and only had one complaint that the clutch may need to be bled. [redacted] brought the car back to Muscle Motors Auto Sales for us to check out the clutch pressure issue, after diagnosis found nothing to be wrong with the clutch engagement or pressure. [redacted] proceeded to pick up the car and did not contact us for 2 weeks and once contacted he stated there was a clunking noise coming from the car. Muscle Motors Auto Sales told [redacted] to bring the car back in to verify that there was not an issue with the clutch. Muscle Motors Auto sales reinspected the vehicle and found nothing wrong with the install of the clutch and further recommended [redacted] to [redacted]. [redacted] proceeded to take it there and have it further diagnosed. [redacted] messaged Muscle Motors stating it was the driveshaft that was bad no paperwork was brought to Muscle Motors to prove these findings it was just verbal. [redacted] then proceeded to file a complaint with The Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles stating that we were not in compliance with the repairs done to his vehicle. The Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles did a full investigation and found that we were in compliance with all repairs and state laws regarding [redacted]'s vehicle. ([redacted] rep [redacted] was the representative from the state of Nevada performing the investigation [redacted]). [redacted] vehicle is a high performance vehicle and Muscle Motors Auto Sales can not control how they are driven. Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)Muscle Motors stated, "[redacted] messaged Muscle Motors stating it was the driveshaft that was bad no paperwork was brought to Muscle Motors to prove these findings it was just verbal." It is correct that I messaged [redacted] at the dealer regarding reimbursement for this part that was damaged during the repair of the clutch, but the dealer never requested anything in writing, they only responded that they would not be reimbursing me, for which I have printed proof of that discussion. If paperwork was needed to process this reimbursement they never indicated that to me during the course of this dispute. Furthermore, the [redacted] stated that while there was nothing wrong with the purchase transaction that a remedy was possible through legal means. Additionally, written documentation from a mechanic and photos of the driveshaft demonstrating that this damage was due to a incorrectly installed drive shaft, and that removal of the drive shaft is part of the clutch installation is available. Final Business Response There have been no photos or documents from any shop stating it was from our install of the clutch. All we have received are complaints with no proof or evidence of the claims or accusations.

I purchased a 2007 Jeep Unlimited X on 1-18-2016. I purchased an after market warranty at the time of purchase. On 24 March 2016 I experienced a loud knocking coming from the lower portion of the engine. I made it home and called a tow company to tow it to T & T automotive repair in Gardnerville, NV. They called [redacted] and left a message with no response. I called Gold Standard and was told I am not in their system. I have called back and forth between Muscle Motors to Gold standard and have received no resolution. I have a receipt on the original invoice from 1/18/16 for the vehicle indicating that I paid for an extended warranty.Desired SettlementI just want my vehicle repaired. I purchased an extended warranty, or at least I thought I did, and want it covered under the warranty. If I am not covered by a bona fide warranty, I want Muscle Motors to pay for the cost of repair. Business Response To Whom It May Concern,We sold the customer a 2007 Jeep. We became aware that the customer contacted Revdex.com without first addressing us with any complaints. We are doing everything we can to fix this complaint. The customer's warranty did not cover the motor. We wish that the customer had come to us first so that we could have offered a solution sooner. However, we have arranged with the customer to have his motor replaced, at no cost to him, and are providing a loaner car for his inconvenience. Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)Here are the facts. The vehicle broke down on March 24 2016. On March 24th I called [redacted] to report claim and was told that there was no record of a warranty for my vehicle. I called Muscle Motors on March 25th at 9:30am and 4:25pm to inform the sales manager the Jeep had broken down and there was to warranty. I made 5 telephone calls to Muscle Motors before April 5th when I filed this complaint. I also called the warranty company 6 times and was told that I have no warranty. Muscle Motors offered no solution until he received a letter from my attorney on 14 April 2016. I have telephone logs to support when I called the sales manager at Muscle Motors. I did receive a loaner vehicle from them. I was told the on 21 April 2016 that the engine had been ordered and would be here no later than 25 April 2016. I have been asked to come in to Muscle Motors to sign papers on 25 April but they were not ready, this is a 180 mile round trip for me. I do not know why I have to sign anything. The sales manager has repeatedly said that they are going to replace the engine as stated in his response to this claim. I will accept his response when I have a new engine in my jeep. Muscle Motors had 13 days to resolve this before I filed this complaint. To say that I did not contact them about this problem is not true. I contacted them at least 5 times and so did T & T automotive repair where I originally had the Jeep taken to. Presently my Jeep is in the hands of Muscle Motors in Reno waiting for a new engine. It has been 33 days since the Jeep broke down.
