Review: [redacted] of [redacted] Roofing had stated that he would file the construction permit required by the township and pay the fee prior to starting work. When he called to schedule the job, I asked about the permit; he said that he would file it in the morning before beginning work. While he was at my house dong the work, I asked if he had filed the permit; he said that he had to go to the township office to do that. He also claimed that no on-site inspection was required. I contacted the township office immediately to inquire about the status of the permit; it had not been filed. I contacted the contractor several times during the week to ask about the permit. I have not received a response.
